I never understand these punches landed stats it simply can't be objective data and must be open to interpretation if it really is a dude with a clicker at ringside? And who does the clicking? And just one dude?

If anything these stats would have to come out a several hours maybe days after the fight when some dork could watch the whole fight in super slow mo. And that dork would have to have his stats verified by another dork. And that dork would also the stats verified by at least one more dork with the reliability of the data improving by the consensus agreement of more and more dorks. If you wanted to talk about the numbers like they were facts I don't know exactly how many dorks you would need I'm guessing some bright spark will know the answer to this question. My guess is a lot people. And that's in super slow-mo not real time.

      • Pacquiao outlanded Horn 182-92 in total punches, bolstered by a 29-8 edge in round nine
      • Pacquiao had a 19-7 edge in power punches landed in round nine
      • Horn threw more punches than Pacquiao in nine of twelve rounds (one even)
      • Horn landed more power punches than Pacquiao in three rounds
      • Pacquiao had a six punch or less edge in power shots landed in six rounds
      • Horn out landed (7-5) and out threw (40-26) Pacquiao in power punches in round ten after getting battered in round nine
      • Pacquiao landed 32% of his power punches vs. Horn- 10% lower than in his previous five fights
      • Pacquiao's 32% landed power punches vs. Horn is his third lowest power connect percentage in 40 of his fights tracked by CompuBox (9/17/99 KO by 3 Singsurat-22% & 5/2/15 L 12 Mayweather- 27%)
      .
Take out round 9, Pac still outlanded Hor, 153-82.
Pac had about 2 1/2 more power punches landed in round 9 than Horn.
Horn threw more punches in 9 of 12 rounds. Threw more does not mean you win the round. He just outthrew Pac.
Horn landed more power punches in 3 rounds. 3.
In six of the rounds, Pac has an edge of 6 or less in power punches. Buy still, He outlanded Horn in power punches.
The last 2, i am not really comparing this fight to previous fights. Yes, his percentages are lower, his older now.

The only thing that Horn beat in the stats above is he outhrew Pac and the 3 rounds were he outlanded Pac in power punches. So, Horn did not beat Pac on compubox.

Horn was throwing but hitting glove, elbow or air. He was active but not efficient. I had it closer, but after the replay I really paid attention and horn was very sloppy. He was very Loosie Goosey.
Manny definitely got robbed, now matter how people spin it.

Did Bob Arum wrote this article.

                The thread title is misleading.

Are you ok with compubox when it favors Floyd?

Horn had two massive head butts to Manny, and that's a fact.

This is the first time I see almost the entire forum in disagreement of compubox numbers. Those numbers are just awful and inaccurate.
