Not sure what the fanbase is but I find it interesting that there is greater backlash for a man who takes the extra money out of the promoter's pocket and put it in the hands of boxers, and has given us better matchups over the past couple years at a lower cost.
Come to think of it, if you work for a promoter, it makes sense for you to hate him. And same for the media that these promoters have in their pockets. The ones who tell you PBC is going out of business even though they've done 60 shows in the past year, and praise a promoter like GBP who are in the red and are one Canelo loss from another Oscar coke binge and shop closing.
