While Jeff Horn fought both valiantly and gallantly with a much greater spirited effort than I had originally expected; I still don't believe he won this fight.

While he made it close, I still thought Manny did more than enough to justify winning this fight. He landed the overall cleaner, accurate and more effective punches throughout the fight and almost stopped him in the ninth round. However, my opinion doesn't count because I am not one of three judges scoring the fight

However; At the same time, I am glad Jeff Horn won the fight though because it's better for boxing. Its a Cinderella Rocky type story. Pacquiao had his time and should now just retire, if he is not going to challenge the elite belt holders of the division.

Moreover, for the first time in over 13 years and not since the first Erik Morales fight did we see Manny being constantly backed up and pinned along the ropes' Which is a sign of a decline.

Lastly, the Jeff Horn story is good for boxing because he's fresh and it brings new blood into the sport and hopefully more fans also.

Pac has moved into boxing parasite mode. Just like Cotto and fraud. They are waaay past their primes, and just pick B level boxers to fight these days. Of course fraud won't even do that. These guys are now bad for the sport IMO. They turn into money vacumes that hurt the REAL fighters trying to get to the top.

If these guys are going to continue to fight, then they should be letting the Thurmans and Spences of the world test themselves against them.

This could have been Crawford's breakthrough fight, instead we got B level Horn who will be flattened as soon as he fights an A level guy.

Pac is a parasite, he takes right eyes. If thy right eye offends thee, call Manny.

Horn said "you think my eye looks bad, you should see the other guy." Oh wait, we did Jeff. He has 2 cuts caused by head butts . All kidding aside Horn put forth a valiant effort. They gave him the nod and Manny is richer and all smiles.

Enjoy it while it lasts. I can't see Horn beating any of the young fresher champions. He should of not even beaten a 38 year old. Luckiest of all title holders today.
