I'd probably pick Wilder to win all day long but Szpilka is nothing like Whyte outside of the ring, Whyte is another level. Nearly all of his face off show things end up or almost end up in a brawl. He definitely will fight until he can't anymore too.

As i say, i'd pick Wilder to win, but i also think Whyte brings something Wilder hasn't seen in terms of personality and being that game to fight, inside or outside of the ring.

Wilder has been so used to having things his own way and soft opponents all of his career, he obviously doesn't want to deal with a guy like Whyte. That's how it looks anyway.

I think you underestimate the notoriety of Szpilka, Whyte is a ***** in comparison.

Just take the money! Dillian Whyte is trash. Go over there, knock him out and fill up your pockets.

Eddie Hearn and Dillian Whyte have made Deontay Wilder a new improved offer of 4.5 million + US TV revenue which would earn Wilder his record highest payday of over 5 million but Deontay Wilder is still refusing to fight Whyte despite Lou DiBella (Who works closely with Wilder) saying they are willing to travel for the right money.

Deontay Wilder would rather duck Whyte and fight Stiverne in a rematch that no body wants to see for less than 1 million.
Whyte is suppoed to be on the Top Rank Crawford Indongo fight mid August?

I saw Whytes name as part of the undercard of Crawford also Nick Walters is on that card too and Shakur STevenson its going to be stacked.

Haymon must have another deal on the table, or some major plan in the works.

There's no way they turn that down unless they're already trying to land something bigger.

I don't know why why you are patting your head.. a poll was done on daily mail to see who people want AJ to fight most. Over 30k people voted and Fury was number 1.. Whyte rematch was voted second highest! Guess who was last??? BumSquad! Yea that’s right the guy that wants 7 million is the most irrelevant.

I'm not too inclined towards this fight.. But if Wilder isn't fighting Ortiz or Parker next then I'd see this fight instead of Stiverne.. WBC is moneyminded so they know get a hefty share with Whyte than Stiverne..
ESPN reports Martin got 8.5 million dollars.. other rumours were he got 5 million and that's why Wilder wants 7. But there is an interview with Hearn in the US where the reporter asked him if Martin got 5 million and Heard replied “I wish it was only 5 million” plus he said AJ was happy to earn half what Martin earned even though AJ is the big star.. and that show barley broke even. After Wilder heard Martin got 8.5mil he said he wants 10million on the boxing voice radio show!!

Eddie Hearn basically bought the belt and made no money that whole card. But since AJ became a champ they have had huge shows and made their money back. They will struggle to make a profit against Whyte vs Wilder if they are paying Wilder so much.. but it will lead to the mega even AJ vs Wilder so they’ll make their money back and then some.

and Wilder cannot? Wilder who is backed by the powerful Haymon, PBC and SHO?
I don't think it's that Wilder cannot... I think it's that his team don't have that much faith with him and thus don't have the balls to take a risk. That is currently the only narrative that makes any sense.

After all if Wilder's team were willing to take risks they would have thrown a boatload of money at Parker to get his belt, but it very much seems like Parker is heading the AJ route thus Wilder's team clearly were unwilling to pay up to match (or better) the kind of pay check Parker would expect against AJ.

You are either unbelievably deluded or just that biased to see this as a power move... even more so if you think Wilder will have any power at all when it comes to a Joshua unification. Joshua is the draw, Joshua has the titles and Joshua is the guy everyone wants to face so Wilder will simply take what he's given, else he'll have to wait. Parker would be quite happy to take his place... so would Ortiz.

Yea he’s gonna fight a journeyman in the US to raise his profile there. Jennings is also fighting on that card but I doubt they’ll make Jennings vs Whyte on a undercard. That would he a headliner in the UK.
