You do realise that Roach says that before every Pac fight, right?

However, once he got that out of the way, he moved on to this...

Last week, Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach became alarmed when he arrived to the Philippines to join the ongoing training camp of his star fighter, WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao. He felt Pacquiao's form was lackluster and the sparring sessions were a complete disaster. There were also reports that Pacquiao's shoulder was giving him some issues at the start of training.

    Then this....

Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach has no idea when his star fighter, Manny Pacquiao, will score a knockout victory over undefeated 2012 Australian Olympian Jeff Horn (16-0-1, 11 KOs). The fight is scheduled for July 1 at the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, Australia. Pacquiao has not scored a knockout victory since 2009, when he stopped Miguel Cotto in the twelfth round.

I repeat, Roach is a clown.

Pac is not going to retire. Hes going to fight Horn again and beat gim. Then hes going to get outclassed by Crawford.

So a coach Is not allowed to see Improvements In his fighter as camp progresses?

As far as KO predictions Roach has been doing that forever. Nothing new there.

Most likely the case. If Pacquiao steps In the ring with Crawford he Is getting Knocked out IMO.

Unlikely though, right? I always suspected they would string it out when it came to the moment they are now - where he is well past his best.

I don't see this coming, i was expecting a Manny vs Vargas 2, instead we're getting Horn vs Manny2.

Usually when guys come in light it's because they overtrained. For Pacquiao to not be training, and be a part time senator, but still enter camp light is just another indication that he should not be fighting at 147. How dumb are Roach and Arum for real? How much more of Pacquiao's career are they going to waste against guys two divisions heavier than him before they figure it out?

Move him to 135 already. Pacquiao vs Linares to start, then Easter, then Lomachenko. Those are great fights at this stage and Pacquiao would have monster power at 135 which would bring back a lot of fans including casuals.
