But this goes back to the same thing, theres zero accountability for judges, two judges gave easter a 12 rd shutout,& in my entire life ive only seen very few fights that 1 sided,so anytime that happens in an extremely close fight the judges should be banned for life. ONLY WHEN JUDGES GET LIFETIME BANS/huge fines will this end.

    That is an absolute outrage.
we are in complete agreement here. Furthermore, I do not believe that Haymon, or Arum, are out there bribing judges. Honestly it just isnt that important to them who actually wins the fight. They will make money with the winner, and they will make money with the loser. Its really only in the developmental stages of a fighter where the promoter truly has a vested interest in making sure the fighter keeps winning, so he can recoup his investment later.

But I just get aggravated when the same posters, time after time, only cry "FIX" when its an Arum card or a Golden Boy card. When its Haymon they all seem to forget all about "fixes" and just post "bad judging doe". If they were at least consistent then it wouldnt be so annoying lol......

In this thread people were focusing on Arum because we just had a major fight featuring a Top Rank fighter.

But you kept deflecting and mentioning Haymon and PBC. Why can't you bring yourself to just stay on topic and concentrate solely on criticizing Bob for once?

      • Freddie Roach thought it was a close fight too

Covers that within the first minute

uhmmm, probably because I dont think for a second that Bob had anything to do with the scorecards..............

So your response is to bring up how Haymon might have had something to do with the scorecards for Easter-Shafikov?

            You're completely biased.

no, my response is to point out the hypocrisy of people like you who cry "FIX!!!" everytime there is a bad decision on a Top Rank show, but when things like Breazeale-Kassi, or the Easter cards happen, you are as quiet as a church mouse. THAT was my point. You have selective outrage, depending on who the promoter is.

And for the 15th time, I DO NOT BELIEVE THAT HAYMON, NOR ARUM, NOR OSCAR ARE BRIBING JUDGES.

I didnt think it was a difficult concept to grasp, but then again I forgot who I'm dealing with.

Actually your wrong you can bet prop bets on just about anything,& a fighter winning by certain amount of points or winning certain rds etc are all bets can be made. And I disagree completely about arum or roach not being in on it,look how kathy duva wanted to do everything in her power for kovalev, but arum has given youtube interviews saying it was a fair result despite horn winning by 6 points on 1 card. He sounds outright happy about it. Imagine if canelo lost in same circumstances what dlh would say, ellerbie if it was mayweather etc.
Theres no other explanation than Arum fixing it,& he does stand to gain a tremendous amount because of it,he keeps pac on contract,he gets a bigger rematch & pac didnt fight anyone whos a real threat of being ko'd,the main point was they get 2 huge paydays, they have created horn into a aussie legend overnight for life,& manny didnt risk injury as hed have vs other fighters.

you would NEVER be able to lay any sizable money on a prop bet because of book limits, you might get to bet $2,000 or maybe $4,000 and then that line would be taken down immediately. Vegas isnt going for the okie-doke......

Im not talking about vegas, theres books around the world thatll take that bet,& even vegas would take that bet as its easy money to them(hes a teacher ffs),but your right that theres limits, but just imagine the payout with horns terrible odds. And as i wrote Arum now has every promoters dream,a white aussie who is an instant hero to all of Australia now,& now no matter what horn does, hell be able to sell out arenas in AUS for eternity vs bums. Australians had no idea who horn was until this fight, now he's their ultimate hero. Come on just think about it,as I said why would arum not care while ANY OTHER Promoter would scream bloody murder.

usually the promoter will scream bloody murder if they only had one side of the fight, and their side lost. Thats why it was so odd to me when Arum complained about the first Pac-Bradley fight. He had both sides of the fight, so no need to complain. And complaining was actually somewhat disrespectful to Bradley, whose promotional interests he also was supposed to represent. I thought he should have been a bit more diplomatic about that one and kept his comments to something like "alot of people disagree with the decision so lets do it again" or something to that effect, instead of making statements that his own fighter got a gift.......lol
