McGregor needs loaded gloves, way better stamina and to cram 20 years of boxing experience at a high level in less than 2 months. Bottom line he has absolutely no shot.

This is basically true, but one qualifier might attain. MMA is not boxing, but McGregor is still a professional prize fighter, which matters some with respect to overall fitness and training.

While he is not a boxer, he's at least a supremely trained fighter, with luxuries many amateur boxers don't have (due to money).

One instance, Antonio Rogerio Nogueira won the gold metal in S. American amateur boxing and silver at pan ams, as an MMA fighter not at all known for standup. Him and his brother picked up boxing as part of their training.

Being a naturally talented athlete with world class training does count for something. I don't know what kind of training McGregor has but one would hope it is quality.

I don't think it will make a difference. But McGregor should at least show up fit.

For Mayweather its obviously purely for money and nothing else. The way he spends money, probably found he needed to come back.

Didn't read it, but judging by a few posts, I'm assuming he suggested Conor should apply extreme pressure, and try and hurt him early. Problem is, that's not Conor's game, at all, and he's the exact style that Floyd always beats. He's a straight up, "technical" boxer, that looks for the counter punch, and picks his shots. Also, he tends to put everything into all of his shots. Something you can't do in boxing, and something that will get you gassed by round 3 against Floyd.

Also, Conor's best weapon is his left hand, and that's pretty much it. Floyd's already taken away his 1 punch, and the fight hasn't taken place yet. This is nothing but an exhibition match, cash grab. Noting more, nothing less.
