Making the scale is one thing being in top form at the weight is another, go see Chavez Jnr he made weight also as did every other weight drained fighter in history all make weight.

Weights days before a weighin don't mean anything if you don't know the deal at the time, did he just do a workout where he loses 4-6 pound or did he just get out of bed , it all matters and is relevant.
Another attempt on your part to discredit Pacquiao's accomplishments.

He has spent his entire career fighting guys much bigger than himself. He has no need to attempt to make himself seem smaller than he actually Is, as you stated.

And that, doesn't cut at all to make 147lbs

Most boxer can put on 10lbs easy from weigh in.

Quite a few can do 15lbs.

Then you have the one that can do 20-30lbs

Of course Pacquiao can make 135lbs.

At the beginning of the week if he had to make 140 for the weigh in he could and still come in at what his ring weight will be tomorrow.

      Q. then why did they drag Marquez up to welter..... ?

why not fight him at 135, for his lightweight belt ?

why not fight him at 140..... ?

      A. manny-weight

they thought Marquez was small, old, and slow..... and that muscle-Pac would simply blow him away at welter

that was a cherry-pick gone wrong

as Ariza/Roach said for YEARS, Pac is a natural JWW

the only reason why Manny endured 6 meals a day, including 3am/6am shakes, to fight at welter (just ask me for a link)..... was to hold a physical advantage over the smaller Marquez

Isn't that kind of what Floyd did to Marquez? He agreed to 144 and came In over at 146. Doesn't that sound like someone looking for a size advantage?

Cherry-pick and Marquez do not belong In the same sentence. They fought 42 rounds against each other.

Mayweather selected a lightweight, just like Pacquiao did.....
..... the difference is, Pacquiao could have easily made 140

the catchweight that Mayweather gave Marquez, benefitted Marquez..... because Mayweather was a welter

..... but the catchweight that Pacquiao "gave" Marquez, was specifically designed to benefit Pacquiao, therefore disadvantage Marquez

          that was classic manny-weight

Manny wanted that weight advantage, even if he had to eat 6 meals a day including 3am/6am shakes just to campaign at welter..... Ariza also admitted that Pac burned off his normal calorie intake and could not keep the weight on

Mayweather tried to justify his cherry-pick with a catchweight, then he re-negotiated the contracted weight two weeks before the fight, essentially paying Marquez 600k "insurance" money..... which was lame as fk

but the third Pacquiao/Marquez fight was a setup, they could clearly see from the Mayweather fight that Marquez did not belong at welter..... that was a setup, they thought that Marquez was small slow and old, especially at 145.....

Manny had NEVER weighed more than 145 at that point in time, he had to undertake a crazy regime to campaign at welter back then..... that "catchweight" was a setup

one more difference, Marquez beat Pac in their 3rd fight imho

that was a cherrypick setup that went wrong, similar to Hoya/Pac
