A lot of fighters say this, Floyd Sr says his son can make 140 and is not a 147 guy.
Look what happened to Chris Byrd he fought at heavyweight 215 pounds most of his pro career and decided to cut to 175 pounds and man he looked so weak and frail and tired no pop at all.

Pacquiao looked drained in the face for this Horn weigh in, and for his last fight with Vargas Pacquiao weighed 161 pounds with his clothes and shoes on when he started training camp

Pac will not be able to be efficient at 135 or 140, the body cannot take the cut, as a younger guy you can cut but not past 30 once you hit 30 slowly your body starts filling the blunt of it, it gets harder and harder each fighter to make a lower weight.

He was just saw good he could dominate fighters naturally two weight classes above him

      He can easily do 140lbs.

135lbs he would have to cut but not a great deal, and no more than a quite a lot of fighters fighter there.
He is actually gaining fat now, he was 161 pounds before he started camp versus vargas.

Most of the weight is in his legs, back in the day he never weighed more than 148, if he took steroids with his muscle genetics he would probably be 175 or 180, like Vinny Paz who blew up in weight from 130 to 168 and fought Roy Jones, they had no steroid testing and Vinny was on that stuff.

Pac has literally been 145-148 on fight night as a featherweight 130 pounder he would balloon to the 140s, he fought at welterweight without cutting weight just walk around weight that he walked around at feather so he never put on any size if he took roids he would be bigger than 148 walking around for sure.

But now he is pushing 40 and is now gaining more fat, I predict once he retires you will see a pudgy Pacman, probably weighing 165.

They are plenty of guys at 135lbs that walk around at that weight and more.

130 lbs is super feather, not feather.

When he retires he will walk around about 160, but I'm sure he will still be active as he naturally is that type of person.

Manny Pacquiao vs. MIKEY GARCIA @ 135 pounds

                I would buy that PPV.

That's a fair & competitive fight , a highly skilled action packed fight.

I agree, good call..... but why demand Marquez at welter ?

Yes his ring weight hasn't altered much but his ability to dry out and his body to rearrange as an older guy is a lot less than years ago, he would have nothing at 135.

This talk from Manny is BS always trying to sell how small he is, they forced Algieri to a CW of 144 and the reason given by Roach was to see if Manny can make 140. Now he can make 135, BS he can not and fight at top level.
