yes its smart. this is just a way to make money for most boxers. why would you jeapordize that for the fans or for integrity? on top of that if you stay undefeated long enough a good amount of fans will think you are great anyway so there is really no consequences for cherry picking and steering clear of danger. yes you could be greater and make more money fighting good fihters but you could also lose everything. why risk it?

It it was so easy why are there not as many undefeated HW's around? Deontay has not taken the short cuts like a Hughie Fury : hes been willing to fight in Russia, he fought in the UK! who has he ducked?

I say Deontay has only been champion about a year and a couple months when you take into account the injuries : and WOW! you have to give him credit when you think hes fought with broken hands and a torn bicep, bounced right back in a few months and kept defending the most prestigious title! a TRUE CHAMPION.

He seems to be actually wanting to fight the other champs, yet he cant seem to get those fights. GGG was given exceptions from the same group of posters bashing Wilder over the exact same ****...I salute GGG for picking it up this year but damn why is it always Wilders fault?

if he wanted the fight he could make it happen. Pretty sure ortiz would jump at the chance. As i said theres always excuses, yet in other divisions if someone wants to fight someone they make it happen. Poor old deontay just wants tough opponents though, its not his fault ....
