Bob Arum and his brain trust would’ve preferred to make a Vasyl Lomachenko-Orlando Salido rematch for August 5. But according to Carl Moretti, Top Rank Inc.’s vice president of boxing operations, Salido turned down a $720,000 purse to face Lomachenko that night. Top Rank instead announced late Thursday night that Lomachenko will meet Colombia’s Miguel Marriaga in a super featherweight title fight ESPN will broadcast August 5 from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

Seems like he'd rather keep his fond memories of that victory over money. He's washed up now and knows he would lose so why should he give Lomo the satisfaction. Lomo should have fought him in an immediate rematch when he first loss. Please don't bring up the weight class. Lomo was a grown man, it is a 4 pound difference between the classes, and Lomo was a big 126 pounder rehydrating over 10 pounds after the weigh ins.
