    DISAPPONTMENT
Not due to Salidos's ducking but due to Arum's ducking from Rigondeaux! **** Marriaga, Loma needs Rigondeaux at 130 to build experience to become a Legend. He is great for a boxer but can't become a Legend without fighting guys like Rigondeaux. He might loose to Mickey exactly because of getting used to bums like Arum's favorite contenders for Loma.

This is what's wrong with boxing. It's a new age where fans can fill in the puzzle pieces and know what's bullshït... especially especially when a guy like Carl Moretti says Loma is on "another level" yet look at how they manage fight like the dumbest insecure operation... yes the promotional company responsible Horn...

Top Rank is he worst in the business. Arum has no shame running it like a circus...

And then you've got industry cheerleaders complaining that PBC overpaid fighters. As if that affects the press who are against them.

Let's see how much Floyd offered Salido to fight Tank Davis!

Keith Idec props to you for getting such specific information about this! That's what a real journalist does, and I've also appreciated your honest take about Kovalev-Ward, minus the few bones you feel obligated to throw Ward's way about how he would probably win anyway. If you rewatch that fight with the sound off, it's actually Ward who looks like all the extra muscle is making him gas, as he barely throws a punch in rounds 5 and 6, and then he comes out as desperate as I've ever seen a defensive boxer close on the scorecards come out in the 7th round fouling and headbutting Kovalev as many times as he could, which he continued into the 8th. I think that's why he looked so relieved when the ref stopped it. He and the HBO commentators tried to sell that he was in total control, but I think the bad weight cut and Kovalev's heavy hands, especially the extra body work he put in starting very early in round 1 (so it had maximum time to take its toll) were wearing Ward down more than people realized.

Kovalev had some general fatigue by that point, especially from all the fouls and low blows, but in terms of his body or anything, Ward is not a huge puncher. Ward, on the other hand, was worn down by some of the heaviest fists we've ever seen at 175. So I think you should rewatch it on mute and you might see a different fight than you saw in that regard. In any case, even if you accept HBO's narrative that Kovalev was the one gassing worse than Ward, he still wasn't nearly as down and out of it as Joshua was against Klitschko in the 6th round. And we all know what happened there, so there's no such thing as "he would have won anyway" in boxing between two such evenly matched boxers, especially if you have the power Kovalev has.

But otherwise, your work has been exemplary recently, and I wanted to give you props on that. I did want to ask though, when they said this the best available opponent, did you at least ask about Rigondeaux? Because Rigondeaux is definitely a better opponent than Marriaga, and he also claims to be available. So what's the story? I just want to know, did Top Rank avoid Rigondeaux despite his being available, or did it turn out Rigondeaux was lying about being available? That's the question I hope you get to bottom of. Because Loma-Rigo would be an A in excitement for me, while this is a ****ing D.

You're dreaming if you think TMT or anyone else pays Salido half as much as that in his next fight, whoever it's against. He decided that he'd rather sit on his win than get paid, and that's fair enough for an old warrior like him, but no one can say that Lomachenko or Arum didn't try to make this fight

Did someone just call Salido a duck? Are you kidding me? You can say a lot of things about Salido but you can't question his heart. Salido don't run from nobody. If the fight didn't get made its because Bob tried to low ball him or he didn't want to risk his new golden goose taking an L again. I'm not even a big fan of Salido but that guy has as much heart as any boxer I've ever seen.

I want to hear Salidos side. I don't believe a god damn WORD Bob "Yesterday I was lying but today I'm telling the Truth" Arum says.

Only a complete moron believes Arum
