Canelo is proof that ODL is not that great of a promoter. Look at what arum did for Pac's image, or what Haymon helped Floyd do with his own. I hate arum, but he's a smart guy.
Golden Boy is a nice brand name (and Oscar is not even decent at not ruining his own image).
Canelo has grown on me, but I had to do my own investigative work.

Oscar is the primary person in charge of a promotion for the first time, and it's a major one. And I believe (given what we've seen so far) his inexperience is gonna show.
