Boxing Logic doesn't like the best fighting the best I guess

Easy walk for Ward. Bellew should have been ashamed after taking over 4 rounds to win one-legged man.

He will punish him, meaning he will land at a higher connect percentage and demolish his body and face.

Even if he doesn't stop him, he will cause more cumulative physical damage to Bellew, possibly crippling him and retiring him from boxing permanently.

Stevenson is 39 years old, and I believe he's only looked good lately because he still gets to fight with no drug testing, or USADA, or whatever he's using. Ward will put him on VADA and then his speed and stamina will go to **** just in time for Ward to fight him. But is it better than Bellew? Yes because Bellew sucks.

205 or 210? I never said I personally weighed Ward. I explained where I got those numbers. Ward walked around at 195-200 when he fought at 168 according to his trainer, and now he looks 10-15 pounds bigger. He could be anywhere from 205 to 215 naturally at this point. Why do you think they are talking about Joshua who fights at 250 pounds? If they weighed 190 they would never think about that no matter how skilled they believe Ward is. You're not going to fight a gold medalist who has 60 pounds on you. But if they are already 205 to 215, and they think they can get to 220-230 with the growth PED they appear to be using, well that's Deontay Wilder weight, that's in the ballpark, that they can make work for them considering they will also have a huge speed advantage against the giant.

We celebrate fighters for moving up in weight against top guys, like Cotto, Margarito, even Floyd fighting Canelo, minus the catchweight. And yes I know Cotto and Margs were too, but Cotto had just been at 140, and Margarito had been at 147 for much of his prime, so fighting Cotto 5 pounds higher than his best weight, and Margarito 5 pounds higher than his best weight, is hardly something to criticize for a midget like Pacquiao who should have been fighting at 135 in the first place, not 152. Canelo on the other hand fought his whole young prime at 154, and was known for struggling to make 154 and already having stamina problems there.

But regardless, going up in weight to fight the best is commendable. But when you use going up in weight as a way to dodge the best fighters, while still tricking the fans into thinking you're great because "hey I moved up in weight!" then that's different. When you know you have a problem with athletic southpaws, so you duck Lucian Bute at 168 and then move up in weight, that's not commendable. When there is no one to truly cherry pick at 175 because it's a much better division, but you scope out the slowest champion in the division who you think suits your style, who has just had a kid, and who you have spies in his gym telling you he's gotten lazy and been drinking a lot of vodka lately, then fight him but still lose anyway only to get the robbery, then get forced to rematch him so you take PEDs until you have acne all over your back, but still lose 5 of the first 7 rounds against him until you get so desperate you hit him with 14 fouls in one round only to have your latest corrupt referee stop it and award you a fake TKO, that's not commendable.

When you're lucky enough to have a chance to fully unify the division as a result of gifts you were given, but you're so ungrateful for those gifts that it looks like you're planning to duck the chance to unify with Stevenson because he's also an athletic southpaw and you know from your amateur days that those give you problems, that's also not commendable.

This is what Team Ward does. Ward even admitted it. Before the first Kovalev fight, when asked about what he planned to do afterwards, Ward said maybe cruiserweight or heavyweight because "Virgil might have identified someone there" or "something there," forget the exact words. That's what they do. Ward has never cleaned out an entire division. Going up in weight has never been an issue for him probably because they have access to that undetectable growth hormone or whatever it appears to be. What has been an issue for them is fighting the best guys. So if weight is no issue for you, but fighting top fighters without cheating is, what do you do? Well what Team CoWard admits to doing is cherry picking certain styles at each weight to fight, while ducking the rest, and then selling to gullible fans that they're "clearing out divisions" when they never have, not even at 168.

If you buy their propaganda, that's on you. All I can tell you is they only sold 3,000 tickets for the Kovalev rematch, and even less people bought the PPV than the first fight. You may not have figured out the Andre Ward con yet, but thankfully for the sake of boxing, most other boxing fans have. His fan base is shrinking at the same rate the apparent PED pimples are growing all over his back.

Smart fans have figured the game out. Don't hate on these cheaters or pay to watch them lose. Just boycott them. Don't pay hard earned money to support known cheating fighters who always bring with them cheating referees and judges wherever the go. Expose their cheating with posts online and when you talk boxing with your friends, but otherwise ignore and boycott them, and eventually networks and promoters will stop paying them to fight bums when those fights don't generate any money or interest. And hopefully, if the corrupt commissions see that setting up fights results in them losing customers by the droves, they will eventually stop doing that too. Until then, all we can do is keep our money as far away from all those corrupt cheaters as possible.
Like I told u before, If conjecture, BS and superstition were nutrient rich, I have no doubt you'd cure world hunger.

I will agree with one thing u said though, Bellow is an easy fight for Ward, and no one should be hyping this tune up as a legitimate viable matchup.

The most ideal situation would be for Ward to fight GGG (if Gennady beats Canelo) for P4P supremacy. If Canelo beats Gennady, a Ward-Ginger fight isn't realistic. Size difference is too much. I think GGG might be more willing to jump up and take the risk of fighting Ward now that he's gotten his money fight with Canelo. But, I view Canelo-GGG as basically a 50/50 fight. So no need to get too far ahead.

That said, Ward needs something to kinda keep the momentum of his recent win rolling. Stevenson is the logical next opponent. But Ward doesn't have time to wait for Stevenson to man up. Moving up in weight has always been pretty much a surefire way to spark interest. Most great light heavyweights in history have tried their luck at heavyweight at some point. But as great as Ward is, unfortunately he's fighting in an era where I think the heavyweights are just too big. Ward isn't a small light heavyweight. That said, he did spend a good portion of his career making 168lbs. Joshua is like 6'6 250. In shape, Wilder is like 6'7 225. The only one of the heavyweight beltholders I think Ward has a chance against is Parker, and he's like 6'4 240. Stylistically, I don't think Ward is gonna be able to be successful giving up a huge amount of size. You need to be dynamic at something to beat bigger guys. He's not overly fast. He's not a huge puncher. He's not a defensive wizard. Ward's stregnth is being versatile. And when all else fails, he roughs you up on the inside. He's not roughing up any of today's heavyweights. I honestly think cruiserweight is a bit of a stretch. Because a lot of today's cruiserweights are pretty much the same size of a lot of the heavyweights that a lot of the great light heavyweights in past eras challenged. Bellew isn't a world beater. But he is kinda the hottest name at cruiserweight now. And at it would a compelling event with a lot of storylines. Ward moving up. Bellew can sell a fight. The whole real life version of Creed angle. The event will be enough to spark interest and keep Ward's momentum rolling.
