Why do people act like Canelo hit harder than super heavyweights?

People say he going to KO The Dark Horse "GGG' himself. I'm just really confused. I like Canelo but why do people keep saying he can KO "GGG". He couldn't KO mosley(granted he has a chin), Angulo, Lara, Cotto but for some reason he hits harder than jacob(a guy that dwarfs Canelo in size). Lettuce be serial Canelo will not sleep "GGG."

Yes anybody can get caught with a good punch but how does Canelo hit harder than jacobs the man who "KO'd Kid Chocolate" himself.

First of all my son, much of industry and real fans have said 160 could be perfect for Canelo's weight... that's a theory of Alvarez has had trouble with 154 in the last year when he stripped for Smith... then you must wonder why Gennady himself said Alvarez will be "stronger and more fresh." Those are Gennady's own words, and keep in mind Gennady was using Alvarez when he was a pup for sparring.

The point is that Alvarez at 160's performance might be to his benefit and one should void 154 performance circumstance when only focusing on power and endurance. Some say Alvarez fatigues more... but they are only basing that on 154 and ironically it's the same people that say he drains...therefore those factors (but just theories) would of course or perhaps affect performance. Alvarez was Abel to push Chavez Jr.'s body with just a pull counter at 164...

Why would Sanchez now even say GGG would KO him at 11 or 12? He is saying that because he would hope both are exhausted at the late rounds and Gennady MIGHT be able to edge it out in the end. However that is unlikely going against a rugid Alvarez. GGG will sustain a lot of damage I think it willl be too much for him he won't be able to reset what he normally likes to do. Therefore in frustration I say Gennady gets KO'd.

Regarding Jacobs, as we saw, needs to focus more on precision, and Jacobs doesn't strike the same as Alvarez. Alvarez is a torso bender, power hitter, that in itself has its advantages. Jacobs is a mover. Completely different styles.

For me Kell Brook showed that Golovkin can be outboxed and Jacobs showed Golovkin doesn't like to throw combinations.
Both Brook and Jacobs move more than Canelo does though which may be a problem for him if GGG can tee off with power shots.

I think Brook's only problem was that he was too small for Golovkin and couldn't get any respect at all.

I think Canelo could fight a similar fight as far as throwing combinations and countering Golovkin and he's quite a bit bigger than Brook.

But you're right, if someone's getting knocked out it's gonna be Canelo. Golovkin's power is what wins him this fight.

I could also see a UD win by Canelo if he can take Golovkin's punch and slow him down with combinations. Also the judges love Canelo (and money).

KO can come from combo or cumulstion ,nobody said that it will be one punch KO ,also Jacobs wasnt siting on his shots ,when Brook was able to do it ,he did good damage on GG

Firstly who the fook said he hits like a super heavyweight, and secondly if anyone middleweight punches another clean on the chin he is going to sleep. Canelo isn't feather fisted. He's no GGG but he will put you to sleep if he lands clean.

Who tf ever said Canelo hits like a super HW, and maybe 3 people have predicted a KO for Canelo, and his super fans are probably just talking up their guy, which is understandable.

But you'd have to be ******ed to think Canelo can't KO a guy that gets hit a lot, and will be one of the few fighters that will willingly offer up his chin for Canelo to tee off on in a brawl type fight, if things go as expected.

GGG couldn't up his combo on brook/jacobs cuz they were being slick black boxers. Same reason why Canelo could land combos on Lara.

Obvisouly Canelo doesnt hit harder than Super heavy weights but people are exaggerating like he his. I'm saying he couldn't ko super welterweights, so how does he ko The Dark Horse "GGG".

It is abit mystifying why some people have turned Canelo into the kind of puncher who would be expected to knock out a good fighter with a good chin, a division up from where he's been campaigning. I mean, he's a solid puncher, but he couldn't get rid of natural welters Cotto, Mosley or Floyd. He couldn't get rid of decent light middles Trout and Lara. He couldn't get rid of a stationary weight drained middle who was brutally stopped not long before, despite having nothing coming back at him. Why should he get rid of a fighter who has more power to deter him and has never been stopped or floored in any fight? Makes no logical sense.

I think it's wishful thinking by GGG haters who would love GGG to be KOed. Canelo is a big puncher but he failed to KO guys like Cotto and Trout and Lara. GGG takes a much better punch than those boxers and he has never been knocked down in any amateur or pro fight.
