Yes anybody can get caught with a good punch but how does Canelo hit harder than jacobs the man who "KO'd Kid Chocolate" himself.
the most likely scenario for a canelo win will be a decision, but if a ko comes from him it wont be his power, it will be his timing, kos can come in different ways and styles make fights...

Couldnt KO Matthew Hatton despite dominating him for 12 rounds. Took a while to KO Ryan Rhodes, never looked like hurting an old past his best cotto. I dont see him stopping or KO'ing GGG especially when Jacobs (a bigger puncher) couldnt.

If a KO happens in this fight it's going to come from the Triple G side.

Canelo is strong, hits with a thudding punch but is not a KO artist.

He couldn't knock out Matthew Hatton, little old Mosley, he hit Angulo with everything and the kitchen sink, sure Angulo got beat up but when the referee stopped the fight Angulo was pissed and arguing with Weeks, no KO artist power there. Cotto while his strategy was to box and move, there were plenty of times during the fight that Cotto got hit with plenty of punches from Canelo and Cotto didn't get knocked out. A walking weight drained punching bag called Chavez Jr. in a fight nearly identical to the Angulo fight. Canelo couldn't knock out a walking dead man.

Canelo won't knock Golovkin out either. Now Golovkin's face may get marked up and there is a possibility of the fight ending on cuts, swelling or something of that nature, yeah. But getting knocked out unconscious, it ain't gonna happen.

Canelo will also get marked up in this fight, perhaps not as much as Golovkin, but Canelo will get marked up too. And the same possibility exists for Canelo to get cut or have swelling. But as far as KO into unconsciousness or similar. Well Golovkin has the better chance of making that happen not Canelo.

He couldn't get rid of a stationary weight drained middle who was brutally stopped not long before, despite having nothing coming back at him. Why should he get rid of a fighter who has more power to deter him and has never been stopped or floored in any fight? Makes no logical sense.

....Bingo and he couldn't knock out Matthew Hatton also, the Angulo fight was nearly identical to the Chavez Jr. fight. Angulo got hit with everything and he was getting beat up true indeed, when the ref Weeks stopped the fight Angulo was pissed off and arguing with the ref, he wasn't unconscious, he was still there in round 10 after getting hit with all of Canelo's punch arsenal round after round. With Chavez Jr. it was another walking dead man in front of Canelo and he couldn't knock him out either.

            You're absolutely right on that.

I think OP mean super middleweights... But if a KO happens I think it will be from GGG, I don't see Canelo putting GGG to sleep.
