Comments Thread For: Marquez Seriously Doubts Horn is Capable of a Pacquiao KO

For several months, 2012 Australian Olympian Jeff Horn (16-0-1, 11 KOs) has been studying Manny Pacquiao's 2012 knockout loss at the hands of Juan Manuel Marquez. It was their fourth fight against each other, with Marquez landing a perfect counter-shot that sent Pacquiao out cold in the closing seconds of the sixth round. Horn has been reviewing the footage of that perfect punch, over and over, and believes he can land an identical punch to put Pacquiao to sleep in similar fashion.

That KO is one of my all time favourite sporting moments from all sports.

Lol, the lone guy in the place going off celebrating and everybody else quiet as if they just found out a dear family member passed away.

Lol, that must have been quite the scene.

I remember how shocked I was when it happen. I was thinking, oh hell no, did Marquez just knock Pacquiao TFO !?!?!?

That was a surreal moment but punctuating moment for Marquez.

Ah damn, your stream went out right before the KO.

But you got to see videos on youtube I'm sure and HBO replays of the fight. Yeah that was one of the most shocking nights I've ever experienced watching boxing.

That is an epic image of Marquez nose all busted up, blood splattered all down his chest but just revelling in the victory.

Oh I wasn't aware Rustico Torrecampo and Medgoen Singsurat worked with Heredia. Thanks for the heads up.

Sounds like marquez is just jealous and doesnt want horn to knock him out so he can be the only one.

Stop hating marquez let the white school teacher have some shine.

It was an epic knockout that's for sure. But dammit if Marquez wasn't getting beaten from pillar to post until then. These fighters were just very evenly matched. I always thought Marquez won the third fight that was some crooked s***.
