Yes the cop did ask for ID and insurance. I think things changed when he was informed there was a firearm in the car though. I'm not defending the cop's ineptitude. I'm simply stating that the cop didn't set out to kill an innocent black guy that day. He was obviously scared, nervous, and unfit to be a policeman. I advise anyone reading this, if you get pulled over and you have a gun in the car. Put your hands 10 and 2 on the steering wheel immediately after pulling over. Disclose everything to the police officer and make sure the officer allows any movement before you move. Dont casually disclose youve got a gun in the car while your digging for your wallet. Especially when youre black. In a perfect world it shouldn't be that way, but if youre black I suggest exercising extra caution since a sizable portion of your population gives you a bad reputation. How quickly we forget the two black guys that assasinated 8 cops in the span of a couple days last year. Thats why some of these cops are nervous and panicky.
