No. Reports were that HBO put in an offer and it was rejected. Whether or not you believe that to be factual, or if Arum just leaked that to make him look better, that's up to you. But this is what was reported in articles. That HBO made an offer to broadcast it and Arum went the ESPN route. Taking Lomachenko & Crawford with him.

c'mon, thurman vs guerrero was the way better fight, way better.
degale vs dirrell, andy lee vs quillin were also on nbc primetime in the beginning if im not mistaken... Both 50/50 matchups

Is this available in Canada on Rogers cable?
ESPN may be free but delayed like a day or two before it is shown.
Is this the same case here? How can you even pay for a fight that is offered for free?

Funny, I don't remember the last time I paid to receive a gift. Paying for a cable provider is not a gift, PBC boxing is a gift. It cost the viewer nothing.

With that said, still a fight worth watching. Seeing Pac destroy this nobody and seeing if Arum keep to his word about this November PPV.

you're such a moron dude. ESPN and top rank agreed on a package deal, right? well that package deal included this fight, so if you break it down, they did pay for this fight. Top Rank will never agree to televise fights on ESPN for free.

I'll wait for Canadian posters' response on this. Maybe the solution is to sign up for a ESPN subscription even for just a month.
Which seems useless when most of their shows are shown here for free.

Yeah that's laughable. Bob Arum don't do anything for f**king free.
