But that's actually part of the problem. GGG is open to get countered between shots but not with that weak ass shot Rubio threw while leaving his chin in the air like a thot waiting for the money shot smh.

        that pull-counter froze him.
He could well have some success with it early which may make Golovkin vary his avenues of attack. I think Golovkin has a great many more options than Jr quite aside from which GGGs jab is a far better disguised and varied tool.

We will have to wait and see I think. If Canelo can catch Golovkin with something that smarts a few times early to make him think twice about the jab it will change the texture of the fight considerably I think, but I'm thinking Golovkin will be expecting the pull counter and will work to draw it with feints... it should make for an interesting dynamic.

Canelo's body shots (esp. to the liver, if he sets it up) are much more likely to have an effect in this fight. The pull-counter, not so much, Golovkin will be coming forward and likely to follow with a very nasty right hand.

Jacobs had success countering him in between shots. But he's not nearly as good of a counter puncher as Canelo.

then counter. Canelo's pull counter is pretty fast.

he pulled it off against Cotto.

If Canelo can be that quick to avoid Golovkin's jab and counter it could get interesting. We'll see.

That's what makes it interesting. GGG isn't like Kovalev who is more of a jab-straight guy and if you neutralize the jab, you negate his offense. Golovkin has a much more varied offensive attack.

Golovkin is not a single trick pony.. he throws a jab & brings his right hand in front of him to catch counter rights.. of course Canelo's best chance is counter shots but Golovkin varies his jab speed & position making it difficult to land the same shot twice..

If he is quick enough to pull it vs Cotto ,he is quick enough for GGG no daubt
