I like Ward...... but he wants no parts of Stevenson.

Kovalev might as well fight Stevenson in Canada and the winner must fight Ward finally. Stevenson has scary power and could catch Andre and end the fight. Ward will look for some easy fights now that Kovie is out of the way and soon forgotten. But Stevenson seems scary but so mismanaged it's a crime.

Stevenson is explosive and fast.

Oh he is predictable. He is basically a one handed power puncher. He definitely throws the left hand at any angle he thinks can land, but that's generally after he feels it won't be countered with anything significant. He cannot be that reckless with a skilled fighter like Ward.

ward already ducked stevenson, i doubt he wants any part of him. for those that dont remember it was after his win over dawson that ward was offered a 2 fight deal; 1st fight at 168 in oakland,2nd at 175 in montreal. he couldve easily fought stevenson at 168 not have to move up afterwards if he won or loss.

Bcz those moves doesn't work against someone carrying the patcher of the KRONK. It's hard to use their own medicine against them, Stevenson is aware of such moves Ward pulls out. Caucasians fight clean, they don't do it and don'T expect even their opponents to do it.

Care to elaborate? Wouldn't Wars just keep Stevenson on the end of his jab. Take away the left hook body shots from a low guard. I mean outside of punching power what makes Stevenson special?

Sure he can hurt Ward if he lands flush, but will he be able to is the question. Boone and Miranda were explosive punches as well. I don't believe Stevenson has enough tricks in his bag to land the big punch that puts Ward down.

You could be right. For me its just an opinion based on watching the two of them fight. Lord knows I am no expert but enjoy the sport and the discussion. I hope we can find out if and when they do get in the ring together. Fingers crossed.

Ward should Just fight Bellew (who Stevenson already stopped) for the WBC title and make some money. Stevenson has a lot of fights to still make at 175. Is he wins that could set him up for the winner of Parker vs Fury.
