I see the boxing bigots are back at it - Kov didn't say shyt when weeks stopped the fight, no protest, not arms flailing - nothing, he took his lumps and disappeared, he even congratulated Wars - bigots will never let it go, any way to discredit to fill your freaky fantasy so be it - the official records has it as a loss for Kovalev everything else is fantasy like World of War Craft or Dungeons and Dragons - can't hit someone low that is bending over - but like I said it's an official win, now take your limited knowledge of the sweet science and bandwagon another KO guy who has yet to fight a real challenge and I bet more than half of you guys have Lomachenko at #1 on your p4p list - a fighter that is 8 and 1Comment

Come on now.
Kovalev was going quit before that happened.
Didn't you see him turning his back and flopping?
Weeks robbed us of seeing Sergey Kovalev do a Kell Brook knee flop.
He had 0 left in the tank just like Brook.
Kell can dish it out and take it.....Kovalev can dish it but he ain't taking it.Comment

Those blows were low. And it happened enough that Ward should have been warned, if not lost a point. Kovalev's style of headhunting with power causes him to gas out and so he wasn't doing well in the later rounds. No way the fight should have been stopped though. At the least a recovery period for Kovalev and at the worst a standing 8-count. By the way, I don't like to see or watch Ward but it's not because of his style of fighting; he's actually interesting to watch from a skill perspective. I just don't like him.Comment

IBF, WBA, WBO light heavyweight champion Andre Ward (32-0, 16 KOs) says he is not going to allow the critics to take away his recent rematch win over Sergey Kovalev (30-2, 26 KOs). In their first fight last November at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Ward got off the floor in the second round to win a close twelve round decision over Kovalev to capture the three titles. All three judges had it scored 114-113 for Ward, but man observers felt the decision was controversial with Kovalev doing enough to win.

We know what happened there. Kov has done 12 rounds so it's not as if he can't pace himselfComment
