Kovalev had the life and soul beaten out of him because Ward was a better boxer that night.

Acceptance is a key step towards recovery, and in turn, self-improvement. You can't let this situation have such a massive effect on your life - you will spiral out of control.

Reach out and ask for help if you need to, young man.

      Stop being a crybaby
      Ward won

      He absolutely deserved it
Forget all the talk, and appreciate that we saw two top contenders battle it out and risk their undefeated records to decide who is the top dog.
That's respect from me, for both parties.

I was 100% rooting for kovalev, and I accept that he lost.
Let's not rewrite history. Ward did what needed to be done. So what if he landed some low shots, it's a fight. Kovalev got out fought.

I saw kovalev do some rabbit punching here and there.
Ward may have a pretty ugly style at times, but he won that fight.

I gave kovalev the first fight based on the knockdown, and can respect if someone had it one point difference either way.
      But this fight, ward adjusted.
Kovalev being a great fighter, still fought well. But he kept committing with the same one two combination and was getting zapped of his energy as the fight went on.

Which is why he got hurt by the clean right hand (tiredness/ both mental and physical)

      Let's move on- that's boxing man that's boxing !

        100% agree with that
Ward removed the right hand big time
That's very impressive and kovalev was perplexed by this

Lol.. none of these couch potatoes are going to convince me that ward is this super skilled fighter.

He falls into a clinch because he has no inside game and creativity, plain and simple.

James toney is a master in-fighter. Andre ward is not.

            this is a fact.

he didn't throw low-blows in the first.
Everybody knows real championship bouts begin in the sixth round. Listen to what Ward said about that in the post fight interview, and before you claim he was making an excuse, go listen to his commentary in the MayPac fight, he says the exact same thing in the sixth round of that fight.

In other words, it's truly what he believes based on his vast experience in the game.

so more than half the rounds were spent in the clinch. of course that meant he was in no danger.

that is not great defense. that's the referee allowing him to cheat.
Lmao! Kovalev was the one initiating the clinches and headlocks in the first fight dumb dumb! Ward was the one breaking the clinches in order to work on the inside. You must have been watching the fight upside down with your eyes closed.
