But it seems like Ward needs more tuneup fights.”

"We don't need Ward. Golovkin doesn't need Ward. Dawson needed Ward. The fact that he made Dawson come down to 168 kind of irks me. When [Golovkin's promoter] Tom [Loeffler] said 50-50, and me and Tom talked about it, he meant 50-50 all the way across. That was the reason why I said 50-50 and 50-50 means 164 - right in the middle. If they want the fight, come to what Golovkin is aking for," Sanchez told BoxingScene.com

I can't post links because of low post count, but these are quotes from boxing scene articles in regards to comments by GGG's camp.
I can certainly see where Abel and Loeffler were coming from there. If a fighter is chasing a fight with another guy in a lower division, isn't it usual - and fair - for him to be willing to move down, like Dawson did with Ward, or at least, be open to a catchweight? Especially if the bigger guy is not a draw, and offers zero financial incentive to tempt the smaller guy into moving up for him.

Even so, those were hypothetical comments about a hypothetical situation, as when Rigo was talking about he and Loma meeting midway on the weight, at 126.

And when Loeffler got an offer from Ward to fight at 168 in the summer of 2016, he didn't demand a catchweight. He told Ward that if he wanted to fight GGG at 168, he would have to wait till 2017, because Golovkin would be busy at 160 till then.

Lol. I love seeing you getting all steamed up at this place!

It gives me a nice warm feeling of satisfaction thinking about your blood pressure rising while you **** away on the keyboard, filled with impotent, frustrated rage over a guy who doesn't even know you exist!

waiting for kafkod to tell us that Team Golovkin never mentioned 154-168, not once

and how they never mentioned Froch, at 168

              or Chavez, at 168

and how they never demanded a 164lb catchweight for Ward

how they never promised to fight Canelo at 154

how they never refused to fight Ward in 36 minutes flat

come on kafkod, tell us how all that stuff never really happened, and we just made all of that stuff up

does Ivanka defend Donald as loyally as you defend Hypekin ?

                Guillermo Rigondeaux‏Verified account @RigoElChacal305

After beating d best version ofNonito @trboxing humiliated me publicly. When @VasylLomachenko lost vs Salido they made him their star.
Why isn't Loma expressing his desire to fight Rigo?
