People claiming that Lomachenko ducked Rigo really need their heads examined. There's no point in arguing with those who have deluded themselves like that.

This is a good fight to make, if the schedule allows it then they should go for it.

Your naked bias and hypocrisy is really showing in this thread. Did you slaughter Rigo when was saying that Loma coming down to 126 and him going up would be fair?

Nope, not a peep out of you and your racist cronies.

But I'll say this for Rigo .. he is asking to fight Loma next, immediately, asap .. none of this "I need a couple of tune-ups first" bull**** we heard from Ward regarding Golovkin.

Who the **** demands that a smaller man to move up to fight him ... and then says that he needs tune-ups himself first?

trust you to label " maybe 2017 " as some kind of offer, when it was clearly a duck

Golovkin turned down Ward's offer in 36 minutes, stating that his schedule is full, and stating "maybe 2017".... he then fought Dominic Wade and Kell Brook, you utter tool

        have some pride

only kafkod would attempt to spin that obvious duck in to some kind of genuine offer..... you are beyond ******ed

Loeffler admitted on many occasions that he works 2-3 fights ahead with Golovkin..... but, "maybe 2017"

Yormack said..... "they would have responded with 'thank you for your offer, we're going to discuss this with our fighter and get back to you.' That's typically how it's done. You don't respond in 36 minutes."

then kafkod said, dey duckin doe LMAO

As OnePunch put it ... 2 mins to read Ward's "offer" - Forget about Canelo, move up to fight me next year at 168 ... and btw, I'm fighting at 175 now - and 32 mins laughing at it!

Has team Rigo's promoter reached out to team Loma yet?

Vasyl Lomachenko: Rigondeaux Does Not Want To Fight

              By Gregroy Stangrit

27-year-old Ukrainian Vasyl Lomachenko, who holds the WBO world featherweight championship, says WBA/WBO junior featherweight champion Guillermo Rigondeaux of Cuba, 34-years-old, has refused to fight him.

The two Olympic champions have been trading messages on the social networks, calling each other out to fight.

Lomachenko says everything was agreed upon, including a rehydration clause on the morning of the fight and then Rigondeaux refused to face him.

"When we started talking to them about a fight in more detail, they put forward different conditions. They demanded the [financial] amount that was required, and we agree with them about it. They made a demand that on the morning of the fight, my weight does not exceed 62.5 kilograms [135-pounds give or take]. I agreed. But now they told us that they are not ready to stage this fight, now they do not want to fight," Lomachenko said.
That is not true. They didn't agree to the 10 lbs clause nor to the 122 lbs catch weight.

It's anyone's guess. One hopes they're trying to work things out behind the scenes.

Thing is, Loma is scheduled to fight in early August and still has no opponent.

Ironically enough, the only fighter that could be competitive with Loma on such short notice is Rigo himself (Rigo is fresh from his last fight and always stays in incredible shape)... IF Loma does in fact fight in early August, he'll have a pretty big advantage over anyone he fights (not named Rigo) as he's been in training camp this whole time and his opponent will not have been.

We'll give both parties another week.
If nothing happens, then they're not really serious.

Check out Rigo's twitter. He's keeping the heat on team Loma. Love it.

Anyone can tweet. Ask him if his team has contacted Loma's camp by phone.
