I like them because they are great fighters who fight good opponents. It got nothing to do with my skin color. I also like Lomachenko and Fury. They got great skills. Lomachenko has turned into an offensive beast and Fury looked untouchable in his last 3 fights, wherever he's at now.

I don't like cheaters. Plain and simple! I enjoy every boxing style / moves to a certain degree that are all legal. However, I don't like cheaters or illegal moves for the simple reason that they are not legit boxing moves / boxers to begin with.

For example, some of the moves Andre Ward uses such as low blows and headbutts would be illegal in MMA and Olympic wrestling, let alone in boxing. So a boxer who has to rely on such moves to win his fights isn't someone that a BOXING fan should have to like. In other words, a boxer who has to rely on 'NON BOXING MOVES' to win a boxing bout isn't someone a BOXING fan should have to like.

Thus, I simply can't like Andre Ward for the above reasons.

However, Guillermo Rigondeaux and Floyd Mayweather are a different case. They don't cheat CONSISTENTLY anywhere near as much as Andre Ward does. They also use legit boxing moves to win majority of their bouts. So I appreciate what they do during their bouts as I enjoy all legal boxing moves to a certain degree.

Having stated that, my favorite boxers are ones that win fights by the biggest possible margin (winning by fastest knockouts possible or by inflicting maximum amount of damage upon the opponents). It doesn't matter how they accomplish this feat, provided they do it by using legal moves. So any boxer that falls under that category happens to be one of my favorite boxers.

So even though I enjoy the likes of Rigo, Floyd Mayweather Jr and every legal boxing moves, my favorite boxers are simply the ones who win by the biggest possible margin instead of ones that do just about enough to win fights.

For me, it has nothing to do with race and more to do with styles / how boxers box in the ring. I enjoy watching Mike Tyson even more than Tyson Fury because Mike Tyson tries to win all his fights by the biggest possible margin whilst Tyson Fury tries to win his fights by the smallest possible margin.

I enjoy watching Artur Beterbiev more than Andre Ward for the same above reason.

Nothing to do with race for me!

I don't like the fact that Ward fans keep trying to justify his dull style by bringing up Mayweather. He's not even on the same level of Crawford in terms of boxing skill let alone Mayweather.

Then how could he outbox Kovalev for two straight fights, if Kovalev really is more than a brawler who was tripping over his own legs while hunting Pascal around the ring?

He must have clinched hard then, as he hurt him in both fights.

I even saw a thread in here asking us (Ward fans) if we genuinely enjoy to watch Ward fight and what we enjoy about it. Let me tell you what I like to see in a boxing match.

I like to see boxing on as high a level as possible. I don't care if it's technicians or brutal warriors. It's all about the level. If Ward fights the best and beats the best, then that makes him interesting to follow. I like to see the best fight each other so that we get to see the best skillsets in action.

Some people prefer action more than quality, but not me.

I prefer skills where you don't have to relying on illegal maneuvers and the pugilist aspect of the sport, striking. Holding, grappling, elbows, headbutts, ducking bellow the waistline and low blows detract from the art of pugilism

Ward and Mayweather do rely more on the illegal tactics.

Rigo only really ducks bellow the waistline and that is rare. Crawford is a great fighter and pugilist.

                  All different.

                  FYI Ward is white
