Very true. As great of a stylist and boxer as Rigo is, he has had bad management and was treated bad by Arum. It would have been to Rigo's best interest to close the show in a couple fights that the public found boring, though I didnt. Well, one I did, the Akbego fight. But Rigo is the B side and has to make concessions to get the fight. Boxing isnt always fair but it is what it is.

Why didn't Rigo offer to move up when Loma was at 126?

As I've noted many times before, I don't fighters moving down in weight. Of course if Loma doesn't move down in weight, he'll be labeled the ducker.

Until they read this from 2015:

Vasyl Lomachenko: Rigondeaux Does Not Want To Fight

            By Gregroy Stangrit

27-year-old Ukrainian Vasyl Lomachenko, who holds the WBO world featherweight championship, says WBA/WBO junior featherweight champion Guillermo Rigondeaux of Cuba, 34-years-old, has refused to fight him.

The two Olympic champions have been trading messages on the social networks, calling each other out to fight.

Lomachenko says everything was agreed upon, including a rehydration clause on the morning of the fight and then Rigondeaux refused to face him.

"When we started talking to them about a fight in more detail, they put forward different conditions. They demanded the [financial] amount that was required, and we agree with them about it. They made a demand that on the morning of the fight, my weight does not exceed 62.5 kilograms [135-pounds give or take]. I agreed. But now they told us that they are not ready to stage this fight, now they do not want to fight," Lomachenko said.

Don't need to be a hater to know the history of boxing...
Oh and Rigondeaux was not a great amateur? LOL!

"Then all boxers who have ever lost have been exposed"
Kid don't talk to me if you are a moron alright?, so for you Ali was "exposed" by Leon Spkins & Larry Holmes? and Leonard by Camacho, Hopkins by Smith Jr. etc etc ?

Prince Hamed WAS EXPOSED by Barrera, Kovaleva by Andre Ward, Ricky Hatton by FMJ and the list goes on.... even b or C class boxers exposed some very big names from europe (Amir Khan, Wlad Klitschko etc)

Loma has only been at 130 for 5 minutes and claimed he only went up to get real challenges so why not just make the fight happen or come up with a counteroffer of 128 with a hydration clause? Just make the damn fight.

Granted it won't be for everyone but this is a boxing purists wet dream. They need to make this fight happen they're both just way too good for it not to.

Lmao so now mofos want to ignore that Klimas tried to negotiate the fight with Caribe and sit up here trying to defend Rigo and call Loma a sucker. People love to ignore the facts. He realizes now this is the best payday available and now wants to fight plain and simple. Funny though how people never side with the European boxer here ever, Ward tried to make a fight but that never gets left out of a golovkin discussion, yet same was done by Loma but of course that goes ignored.

Notice it's the same people who hate on guys like GGG, Kovalev, and probably will to Usyk and Beterbiev once they get more attention.

We all know Rigondeaux pulled out the previous fight negotiations despite everything being agreed to, but they like to pretend it doesn't matter.

The ship really has sailed. Lomachenko has been at 130 for one year now, and is already contemplating fighting at 135.

Lmao, Lomachenko is willing to fight Mikey, but somehow he's afraid and ducking Rigondeaux? These haters man... no rationalization at all
