why shouldnt floyd fight one last time for a huge pay day and retire with 50-0. bernard hopkins fought till he is 50 and only stopped because his old ass got knocked out of the ring. if he respects boxing so much why didnt he retire after beating roy jones jr and kept fighting till he got humiliated? they all belittle this fight, however if they were in floyds shoes they would also fight conor, who wouldnt fight for 100+million$? if they were real they would just admit it and stop hating

Nothing wrong with earning 100 million bucks doll. Hopkin is mainly stating what about those who earned it, and went through the ladder to get to the top. The ones pushing themselves to the top and not getting a shot? A sport is about earning it. As do all sports should be wether, It's tennis, basketball, NFl, Golf, volleyball, football etc..

Now there is such a thing as exhibition match-ups in sports, wether it's tennis, basketball, NFl, Golf, volleyball, football etc..They have non sanctioned competition for charity, or for fun.

Now what's wrong in this May Mac fight is they turned it into a sanctioned fight that show the level of corruption in boxing is quite astonishing that a novice boxer that never had an amateur and pro fight can easily have a shot at a legit sanctioned win, is what is wrong here. If anyone can just jump and cross over to another sport and deserve a high ranking sanctioned fight. This can open a doorway to medoicrity.

Let's say, a tennis player wants to compete with a table tennis Top Dog and wants it a sanctioned battle eventhough this tennis player has no experience or rank in table tennis. That's fuvked up. That's what Floyd is opening here. The doorway to medoicrity.

#Hopkins is emphasizing respect is earned

#there is a ladder to climb in boxing

#there is a difference between an exhibition fight and a sanctioned fight, but in boxing, can do almost anything money desires. Sin City has a way of making fake things happen.

Ah no. Only gullible boxing fans which are a few, and fanboys who are crazy about Floyd will pay for this circus show.

Others will be outside boxing. MMA fans, Casuals who watch wrestling WWE etc.

Those boxing fans such as myself, will be watching it it in illegal streaming or the rerun in youtube, they rather spend their money on a real fight. GGG/CANELO.

No sane boxing fan will pay for this circus show.

Here's a poll showing what true NSB posters will be tuning in.

thats nonsense. conor has a crazy fanbase, he has the same hype pacquiao had like 5-9 years ago. he is one of the best trashtalkers today and always backed it up. he made a name for himself by beating ppl left & right in the ufc and also is very funny & entertaining outside the cage. its not conors fault most boxers are boring and people show no interest in them. floyd is not in his prime anymore, he is coming out of retirement, they wont fight for a title as far as i know, so badmouthing this fight is absolutely ridiculous

Exactly, those who will be watching and paying for this crap are fans outside boxing, thus, making McGregor the A side here. Not Floyd. Since money will be coming in from the gullibles who don't know shyit about boxing, and only comes for the fake us hype.

Look at the poll. Boxing fans are smart where to use their money.

we all know GGG vs canelo is the biggest fight of the year, but i will still watch mayweather vs mcgregor. if i had to choose between the two i would def. prefer watching ggg vs canelo, but that doesnt change the fact floyd vs mcgregor is an interesting fight too.

Never said we won't watch, we won't just pay for it to load up the pockets of these scammers,

as you can see in the poll, majority of the boxing fans won't be paying for this mismatch. They'll be streaming it or watch the aftermath on a rerun. Majority of the boxing fans know this shyit is a farce and won't give a penny for this circus show. Your an exception though.

They are willing to pay to watch a legit competitive fight in GGG/CANELO. They can differentiate where their money's worth is worth it. Which is good news for the Golden Boy.

Look at the poll. Real Boxing fans are smart.
