Canelo coming into the ring first is disrespectful to boxing.

Golovkin is the champion, he should come into the ring second.

But I don't really care and most probably neither does he.

Yeah but Mayweather was coming up to JMW as the #2 ranked WW and Cotto was the #1 ranked JMW and was WBA 154 champ.

In this case, Canelo is The Ring champ at 160, GGG holds titles there. It's different.

GGG is the MW champ. Lineal don't mean **** in this case.

Has meant less and less since Martinez sold it to Cotto

Ring has Canelo as MW champ.

It means nothing to you, but in negotiations it means both are officially MW champions. Both have a case of coming in second, but when that's the case, A-side can say he wants it. I personally don't care, this is just clarification for anyone throwing a fit about it. Anyone of them can come in second.

Or better yet just come out at the same time with a Mexican/Kazakh mixed song.

Sure. I mean it doesnt bother me, but Canelo isnt 'the' champ at MW any more than Stevenson is 'the' champ at LHW.

Actually the Ring are breaking their own rules keeping Canelo as champ (no prizes for guessing why) as he hasnt defended his MW title vs a top 10 mw for 2 years (edit: actually because he has moved weightclasses for more than one fight)
