As I understand, Wilder must face Stiverne, unless he can fight in a unification fight with one of the other titleholders.

If that's the plan, how come Hearn ain't providing a double digit figure to Wilder for Joshua!!?! Where are the reports for that. Haymon' Chess pieces and Wilders' ***elry could see this strategy themselves even though they're not organic...
What? It's clear as day why Hearn wants Wilder to fight Whyte in the UK. If Wilder comes and beats Whyte then he'd instantly become a big thing in the UK and then Joshua v Wilder becomes that much bigger to UK fans which means more buys (even if that fight does happen in the States as most expect will be the case). Whereas if Whyte beats Wilder Hearn gets a huge domestic grudge unification match between Whyte and Joshua.

If Hearn manages to get Wilder to agree to the fight then Hearn wins no matter who wins. If you're calling that a weak strategy then you must be one of the greatest minds on planet to be able to come up with a situation that is even more benefit to Hearn and Matchroom than that.

Hearn will no doubt be doing the same thing with Parker if he gets through Hughie Fury whereby Parker would then face either Bellew or Whyte and then most likely Joshua. Basically Bellew and Whyte are mere sacrificial lambs more than anything as his main priority is clearly making Joshua as big as humanly possible as he's his cash cow.

Hearn has stated that the WBC and Stiverne would be happy to step aside due to the amount of money involved. Whether that is true or not is another matter...

Speak to a Wilder fan and they'll make Stiverne out to be a elite heavyweight lmao.

Wilder has fought bums all his life and he doesn't seem to want that.

If the WBC is happy to let Wilder face Whyte, then they shouldn't have a problem with Wilder vs. Ortiz! That's a fight that's worthy of a step-aside!

Unless Wilder gets a better offer somewhere else then his business sense doesn't make any sense.

If Wilder fights Ortiz for less money over the Whyte offer (If genuine) then i bow to him.

Well Stiverne is the biggest and only name on his 38 resume.
