It will hurt boxing big time if Conor would somehow win the fight. Floyd better win every single second of this fight and destroy Conor.

A bunch of "Drama Queens". Boxing can and will be only hurt by its fans: There is never a clear winner/No one ever won a close match, because so many of you claim its all fixed...."paid off refs, commentators..." And if it goes to points
A lot of you dont care about it being sport and the best "Boxer" winning.
ex. If floyd came out against Pac trying to make it "exciting", and gets caught with one of those, eyes closed Tarver vs RJ shots, you would've been saying Pac was a better "boxer" than Floyd. But Floyd showed without a shadow of a doubt, that he's a better "boxer" than Pac.

Boxing has the most insecure and bitter uneducated fan boys mostly mexican... They always bash their own sport and put it down! Every day these idiots are saying boxing is dead over and over again! We never hear this type of self hate form other fans of other sports..... Only boxing maggots mostly mexicans bashing their own sport like bitter losers that oscarina has programmed for years

If Mayweather puts Tank and Badou Jack in good matchups (Salido, Cleverly) on the undercard, it will do more good than harm to the sport! I've read that they're trying to put Wilder on the card too! Now if he had Roy Jones Jr. vs. Anderson Silva, and Adrien Broner vs. Nate Diaz, that would be a WWE type of show!

If they can put the likes of Badou Jack or Gervonta Davis on the undercard (they would have to take a paycut for the exposure), then it would be great to see them get some shine from the event.

That would be the biggest positive from the event imo

People like freak show. But if Floyd puts McGregor to coma, who's laughing now? (Elite Boxer vs not even an amateur boxer).

If Floyd somehow looks bad it will hurt boxing. It will make people think boxing is a 2nd tier fighting sport.

I'm not sure how boxing will jump.back from that. We will start seeing these types of fights left and right. I just want Floyd to destroy Conor so boxing can keep this come back year going.

                      Simple.

If McGregor (no boxing pro fights) still up in the 6 rounds. This will be bad for boxing.

If MCGregor (no boxing pro fights) survives 12 rounds. This will be the end of boxing.

                      why?

A non boxer who never fought in a pro fight was able to hang with a supposed elite of boxing. That will have repercussions if that scenario happens.

In the Octagon it has been proven an elite boxer, James Toney, can't win in an Octagon, and got blitz in the first round, therefor saving the sport of MMA.

In a boxing ring, if Floyd can't finish McGregor the same way Randy Coutour did to James. Then it only shows MMA is not far behind in terms of striking aka boxing skills. There is a lot running in this fight for Floyd to perform.

If Floyd does not deliver. He's legacy is fuvked and boxing will take a hit to go with his shame. Floyd has to perform for boxing's sake.

There is a lot riding in this circus show that floyd didn't realize. Now that he has signed. He needs to deliver.

That pressure for Floyd to perform might give McGregor the opening he needs to land that lucky punch hehe
