Well seems so far everyone is picking Hopkins.

A couple of factors in Kovalev's fabour that were brought up at the time were, Kovalev is bigger, longer and hits harder.

I actually think a prime Hopkins could beat Kovalev both on the inside (like Ward) and on the outside.

Prime Hopkins would of beat both Kov & Ward. He would of met Ward on the inside with his head and when Ward bounced off him he would of hit him with a 1-2. He'd a done it all night.

Prime Hopkins was a much better fighter than Ward... His dirtiness was creative not just blatant fouling (although he did a lil of that too)
