Whyte is legit and Deontay knows it. That's why he's turning down £4m to fight him. Quack quack.

What i'm wondering about are all these fans so against this fight. Why?! It's a perfect build up to the fight we all want to see. plus no one else is available except for Stiverne *yawn* or Ortiz - which would be awesome, but won't happen.

      I don't get it.
To be honest no one, he isn't going to fight Ortiz and even if he does he would get the sort of pay that he would get fighting Whyte. But am not going to criticise him now until I know who he fights next.

I don't think people understand that fighting Whyte helps promote him better to the casuals over here, and that's due in part to them knowing of the rivalry between Whyte and Joshua.

You'd think the life or death fight with Chisora woulda brought him back down to reality with fans, but UK fans are mors loyal and dedicated to their fighters than US fans are to our boxers. People would be calling Whyte a bum and suggesting he should retire if he was a US fighter lol.

The truth is somewhere in the middle.
The only reason ANYONE cares about Shyte is because he beat AJ in like AJ's 2nd amateur fight. Other than that his career has been completely unremarkable and were he not British, he would be fighting the likes of Breazeale and Washington and probably getting smoked.

Brits think he's a raging monster-beast for whatever reason, it's really quote silly..

I struggle to understand why people wouldn't want to see this. It would be a hilariously tense build up and the fight would be all out action.

And Whyte definitely is a threat to chicken leg wilder.
It might be a good option. It should be in the US though. I think Hearn and Shyte want it in the UK..

All a sudden you want to criticise opponents and say aren't good enough for Wilder but didn't have a problem with his last 38 bums. Ironic how you criticise Whyte when he would be Wilder's best oppnent so far and he's known to he entertaining outside the ring aswell as inside the ring as many considered his fight to be FOTY.

This will come back to bite you guys in the azz because it sounds Wilder will be fighting Whyte sometimes soon after Stiverne anyway because Whyte is very highly ranked by WBC. Where he does eventually fight him and if he gets rocked by Whyte I wana here all you guys say Wilder got rocked by a bum.
Come one Stiverne would smoke Shyte. Washington and Duhaupas would probably give him wars..

This right here. Hearn brings him to UK, he knocks out Whyte, and builds towards a mega fight with AJ in the UK next year.

It's not like there are a lot of other great options.

It's a **** fight, I'd rather see Wilder fight Parker, Ortiz, Hughie etc. Whyte is really terrible.
                Wouldnt we all.

Thats not going to happen though.

He will sign stiverne 2 soon and declare "2018 will be my year"

Yeah, he has a big mouth and is ranked in the top 10 at HW but let's face it, after Ortiz the list goes down hill. Parker and Miller are a work in progress.

How do we know he isn't fighting Parker or Ortiz? Ortiz is only out until Sep/Oct and DiBella is talking about that as Wilder's return date..
