    what do I want for Christmas..... ?

    * Golovkin to lose, so it kills that fake defence record
    * no more Sanchez quotes/comments
    * a ******-free boxingscene

    wow, lucky me..... I get my Christmas presents in September

    Canela got this, he is gonna lite that boy up

    he will be much more confident/aggressive than Jacobs..... he is sharper than Golovkin and he has much better defence

    Golovkin is gonna be a good boy and keep them hands at home, like Chavez did..... he has never fought a counter-puncher as good as Canelo

    I expect Golovkin to be hesitant and struggle to get his game going, even worse than he did against Jacobs

      I stopped reading when he said Canelo is slower.

      Canelo has faster hand and head speed. While GGG has better foot speed. He doesn't even realize speed comes in many ways.

          yea someone mentioned earlier that posters are wrong when they say Canelo has bad footwork

          I hear some terrible things on this site

          having good footwork is different than cutting off the ring..... which you obviously need good footwork to achieve

          I remember being told when I was a kid.....

          if you have average footwork, you will be an average boxer
          if you have good footwork, you will be a good boxer
          if you have very good footwork, you will be a very good boxer
          if you have great footwork, you will be a great boxer

          it obviously takes more than just footwork, but it emphasizes the importance to kids

          Canelo..... is a superb boxer/fighter

          cutting off the ring is a skill/tactic that you develop, along with many others, depending on your style..... Canelo is a boxer-puncher/counter-puncher..... Golovkin is a boxer-puncher/pressure fighter/stalker, depending on the caliber of his opponent

          GREAT style matchup

            no it's not, Chavez kept them hands at home for a reason

            it's not about " powah " (sigh)

            it's about technique/speed/timing/accuracy..... along with ringIQ/intelligence..... knowing what punch/combo to throw or setup, being in the right position and using the correct technique..... having the timing/speed/accuracy/variation to execute

            Canelo is sharp, he has more than enough powah to keep Golovkin honest

            that will be a boxing match just like the Jacobs fight

              1000% agree. He has great 1-2 foot speed. He just doesn't cut off the ring that great. Which is fine and perfectly ok. Not many fighters run like Lara at these weights. And when they engage they get knocked down and a bloody mouth like Trout. Dude KNEW he was losing and Didnt want to engage at all. He was content not getting bambi-legged again. Reason why we call him No Heart Trout.

              He needed a hail Mary to win and yet he was content to run on 4th and long every time. 99% of EVERY boxer out there WISH they knew where they stood.The open scoring killed that fight. Could you imagine someone like GGG, Joshua, Canelo, Ward Knowing they were losing and just standing their looking ******??? Either Trout gave up or he has a TERRIBLE corner who kept telling him BAD advice.

                I think GGG wins by KO but I don't think it will be quick. GGG will take his time and feel him out. Met them both yesterday and Canelo is really small compared to GGG.

                  Saul is beginning to sound like Kovalev and we all saw how well that worked out.

                    I think Canelo can do it. The criticism is that his feet move so slowly, but it won't hurt him against Golovkin. It hurts him when he has to go after an opponent like Mayweather and Lara, although Floyd actually stood in front of him a lot an just moved his head and shoulders now and then.
