Why is the Boxing world not jumping all over this?!
Where are all the "Conor has a 0% chance" people?
This should be THE BEST EVER odds that you're gonna get.
Where's that confidence?
We've heard your mouths, but where's the money?Comment

In fairness there isn't money to be made here unless you got a bunch of money already or a bigger betting bankroll then most people cuz if you bet $9k on Floyd you win $1k (last odds I saw had Floyd as a -900).
So if you got a better ROI than 11%, your betting on Floyd to win doesn't even make sense from jump street. Nor it is the best use of your betting bankroll any day except on Aug. 26 cuz hemming up a bunch of your money for 2 months is ******.
I've personally bet on this fight, but I've stayed away from the Floyd to win bet & have bet on the fight to end within certain rounds bet + the under which I believe is -170ish or something like that.
And the under is the line everyone should be betting here not Floyd to win in my humble, but experienced, betting opinion. And send me 5% of you winnings upon cashing your winning bet at -170ish that this fight doesn't go halfway into the 10th round for those who like money & are grateful lol. Gonna have to start a Dwyer-like podcast soon.Comment

The + means for every $100 bet you get whatever the + amount is.
The - means for every amount bet after the - you win $100.Comment

LOL legit fair point. I used to think that myself til I just resigned myself to accepting the + & - stuff. Now I see more sites have got fractions & 1.5x-like options to be displayed, but I'm so used to the + & - stuff now I keep my + & - display up.Comment

First of all,
That's the way betting odds work. That's the way they worked for Andre Berto, Floyd was a -3000 favorite... against Maidana, Floyd was -900 and -600... against Canelo, Floyd was -300 (the odds try to draw two-way action).
Secondly,
A "0% chance to win" means there is NO CHANCE OF LOSING betting on Floyd. Unless those people saying that are just flapping their lips.
And lastly,
In business, a 12% return-on-investment is pretty decent. At -900 you'd be talking 11.1%. At -800 it'd be 12.5%. The odds on Bovada are currently down to -550, that's 18.2%. Invest $1000 today, get back $182 in two months!?... that's an outstanding ROI, especially for something with (supposedly) a "0% chance" of losing.
Where's that action from Boxing "experts"???Last edited by USMCer; 06-26-2017, 07:25 PM.Comment
