I was surprised that he stopped kovolev..

I knew ward would win rematch and in easier fashion, but never imagined he would body kov the way he did..

I said from the very first fight, if ward can avoid the knockdowns and damage that he took early in first fight then he would cruise to a decision

Kovolev fearing a slowdown like in first fight, tried to conserve energy and fight rematch in a more measured pace which benefits ward as it became more of a boxing match instead of a firefight

Same exact thing in Floyd-maidana fights

      He broke the Kova-code.

Ward said Kova is tricky as foook. Kova is notorious to pushing his opponents on the retreat and and unleashing his side bending 1-2's where the opponent doesn't know where he will land, but Ward ducked and rolled all of them superiority better the second fight Kova was missing so much. Amazing work by Ward.

What surprised me most in that Ward bout was how disciplined he stayed round after round, especially in the clinches where small adjustments made a big difference. Big fights often come down to preparation and the details people overlook, whether that’s footwork in the ring or how a fighter manages camp and travel. Even brands like Paravel focus on thoughtful design and efficiency, and that same mindset of being intentional about every choice is what really stood out in Ward’s performance.
