Kovolev was already bent over in agony for about 20 seconds and ward was pleading to ref to stop fight.. kovolev was bent over and turned his back, obvious sign of quitting.
Ref didn't step in so ward bombed on a bent over defenseless kovolev and then rough jumped in..

Should have given kovolev a standing 8, or allow ward to ice him..

why did he get banned?

It got really ugly with some guys here. And then a couple days go by and it reminded me of a cat that comes around the house every day and then you dont see that cat for days and wonder what happened and then see he had the banned moniker and realize the outcome. I know I didnt report him cause I would have had to report a whole bunch of people fighting and that would have been overwhelming of a task after the fallout.

In my mind a low blow is a nut shot. The shots he was taking earlier were far above the balls and he was not liking them and reacting. Though i disagree with the stoppage. Id of liked to see Ward humble Kov further. It was a stoppage of mercy. He didnt deserve it but he got it.
Everyone acting like wards shots were horribly low are over reacting. Ive seen fights where fowling was obvious & much more precise and no one was disciplined to the point of reversing a decision. You guys need to wake up.
Boxing Isnt like any other sport. Your trying to kill each other. Low blows and rabbit punches are part of the game.
If head shots arent working but body shots are. You go heavy to the body. If he is over protecting the body. You go around his hands. If its a little low so be it. Same goes for
