Was never a big Walters guy, still not.

Was actively dogging Kell, now I kinda like the heart he showed before he tapped out. To me that situation was kinda like the Willie Monroe vs GGG situation in that both showed some heart, but ultimately made smart decisions after taking more damage then was probably necessary to determine who the better man was on that night.

Was never a big Kovalev fan, now I'm feeling the same. I don't think he quit so much as was in with a guy he couldn't beat that night & just mentally gave up & soon his body was following his brains marching orders. It is what it is. Happens all the time in lower level fights. Can't appreciate anything about it nor dog it all that much.

I hold him pound for pound second and until Adonis raises his level of opposition he's no.2 until then, Adonis needs wins over guys like Beterbiev and Gvodzyk or however he hell his name is spelt to be held in as high esteem as Kovalev imo.

What has Adonis done in his time with that belt ?

Kovalev isn't getting his due on this site for those two performances against Ward where he ran him equal for the most part of each bout. He has major conditioning issues and he's not as mentally strong as Ward who of course isn't getting his fair share of kudos for his wins.
