Lol at the usual pointless arguments about who is bigger than who based on the latest bunch of pics of two guys standing next to each other!

Size is best determined by weight. That's why weight divisions are used to match fighters for size in every combat sport known to man.

Not height divisions, or width divisions .. weight divisions.

GGG and Canelo will both make 160lbs, and, hopefully both will gain less than 10lbs by the morning after for the IBF check weight.

Canelo will probably rehydrate to be slightly heavier than GGG in the ring, because he's younger and has had a lot of practice making weight in such a way as to maximise his fight night size.

But there won't be any significant size difference between them when they step in the ring.

        Canelo 70.5"
        GGG 70"
        Chavez 73"
        Khan 71"
        Lara 74"
        Floyd 72"
        Trout 72"
        Cintron 74"
Do you not understand boxing? You have likely never boxed if you don't get the point. No one said GGG had a reach advantage. I'm saying Canelo doesn't, which will force him to get closer for effective punching.

Jacobs was able to stay away and get contact due to his longer arms and taller frame. Canelo won't be able to do that. That makes it easier for GGG to get to him.

GGGs jab has been solid against DL and Jacobs. It'll be on display against Canelo and will eventually slow him down.

If canelo was able to make cotto's jab that's faster more tested at higher levels useless he might be able to to the same with ggg

He needs to be very evasive in this fight (damn near Lara level). Although he's slicker than most give him credit for, he's not nearly good enough at it to make this guy miss for 12 rounds. He doesn't have the physical advantages of height and reach to stay outside the whole fight like Jacobs. He's going to mix it up and when he does, I think he'll get caught up in some damaging exchanges.

you are talking like Golovkin only needs to touch Canelo

Canelo will be " slick and fast " for the whole fight

as I said, his stamina/conditioning will come into question..... but so will Golovkin's, who I expect to be eating some nasty stuff from Canelo

35yo, largely untested, Golovkin..... who is not known as a 12-round fighter..... will be having just as many problems as Canelo

I think you are over-rating Golovkin

when he realizes how sharp/accurate Canelo is, I expect Golovkin to be hesitant and non-committal..... like he was with Jacobs, and to a lesser extent Brook

            also, Golovkin is slooooow

Tim Bradley said that he couldn't believe how slow and ponderous Golovkin looked when Bradley watched him from ringside

I think you are sleeping on Canelo and over-rating Golovkin

that fight will be a 12-round decision, and the better fighter will win

you fkn ****S ran around saying that Canelo was a middleweight, despite the fact that he could still make 154

then you ****S tried to say that Canelo was BIGGER than Golovkin because of rehydration weight..... whilst completely forgetting that the total amount of functional muscle-mass and conditioning that you can take into a fight is determined at the offical weigh-in

you should NOT be commenting on this subject

              what fkn ****S !!

but surely you know Canelo's style ?

that is his range, he will make Golovkin miss and make him pay

that jab will be the first thing to go

the MUCH bigger Chavez was a good boy, because Canelo made him keep them hands at home..... and he will do the same thing to Golovkin

as I said on the other thread, when Golovkin realizes how sharp Canelo is he will be reluctant, hesitant, and struggle to commit to combinations..... just like he was against Jacobs

you think that this fight will be Golovkin walking down Canelo, but it will be a boxing match 100%

Looking good. Although Golovkin looking a little uh.. fat, or is it just me? That suit is sticking out a little more than it should have.

I feel where you're coming from but I haven't seen the type of power out of Canelo to slow that stalker down imo. Yes your boy will look spectacular for a few rounds, but those shots from GGG will slow that down and result in some nasty exchanges that I think Canelo loses.
