Its a punch but nobody is dumb enough to throw it in boxing. Its a ps4 UFC video game punch. I hope Conor tries it and gets laid out. What a joke

If this fight used MMA gloves I mighta actually considered buying it.

Maybe Roman Reigns will tag in for Conor during this WWE-like encounter. That punch is absolutely ridiculous. Conor will end up flat on his face when it misses the mark.

Matter of fact I've seen a spinning backfist in boxing (dude got warned for that bs), but not a superman punch.
I'd think a superman punch would be kinda useless in boxing since kicks are illegal. It would just be guys feinting the kick and getting no reaction and then jumping in with a lead right with no leverage behind it. At my gym we called it a cobra and it wasn't taught as exaggerated as you see guys throw it sometimes. Just a lift of the leg to get the guy thinking about the kick and then throw the punch while you put the leg back...none of that flying through the air nonsense.

And I'd be willing to bet we see one cuz any edge or thing Floyd hasn't seen that Conor can do, Conor absolutely has to take advantage in in this fight.

Here's Espinoza saying its a legal punch.

Here's what a superman punch is for those unaware.

Here's a superman punch used in a MMA bout.

Haha...he should definitely try it. I mean that's one punch Floyd is not training for, could be a surprise move

Problem is, the whole premise of the punch is to mask it with kicks.

                      Good post.

Yea I definitely don't see it being very effective. I've just never seen it in boxing + I think it would be f#cking nuts to see it + I do think just for the showmanship angle to throwing that punch at the right time we could end up seeing this punch on Aug. 26.
