Pac jumped into his punches at times i recall, and Chavez dropped Mayweather with a jumping shot. That's maybe the closest you'll get in the boxing ring to a Superman punch.
lol floyd would eat him alive close. hes a great inside fighter, did you not see the hatton fight? floyd knows how to use his elbows, to move him around and create whatever space he wants.
If mcgregor was allowed to body floyd like hatton did to tszyu, floyd wouldn't be able to move. Mcgregor is gonna be a smw in there with far better greco skills than hatton. Floyd is good inside tho...he showed it against maidana too after weathering the initial bombardment.
This is hilarious & kinda interesting cuz I would have just assumed the superman punch would be illegal in boxing. I've certainly never seen a superman punch get thrown in a boxing match but apparently it'll be a legal. And I'd be willing to bet we see one cuz any edge or thing Floyd hasn't seen that Conor can do, Conor absolutely has to take advantage in in this fight.
Here's Espinoza saying its a legal punch.
Can you leave your feet to throw a punch?... I think that would be what to look for in the rules to verify.
WTF???
Can someone explain what they mean by this (in red)?

Here's what a superman punch is for those unaware.
Here's a superman punch used in a MMA bout.
When my boys were training out of a UFC gym, I used to let the mixed martial artist use superman punches when sparring them and honestly theyd land a majority of the time. It really throws off a boxers timing, range, and footwork.
