Post all these gifs of Wards low blows..lets end the debate

Why in that gif does Kovalev grab his balls when very clearly the punch landed higher up? Why was Kovalev complaining of low shots earlier when it's clear those shots were legal. Why was Kovalov bending into an illegal and defenseless position but yet you don't want to call that illegal. The ref deemed the shot to not be severe enough to call over the damage he was receiving.

They weren't legal earlier In the fight or the referee wouldn't have given Ward a warning In the second round for throwing a low blow and the last punch was clearly low.

The last shot was a low blow, no doubt. Kovalev gets hit there and jumps and his face says it all. Big difference from a body shot reaction and a getting hit in the nut reaction. Anybody who has ever been hit in the balls knows how it feels, your whole body jumps

Ward wrecked him with body shots but that specific shot was low.

I think you are right, Kovalev DID hit Ward in the balls from the Gif that i have just seen here for the first time, because Ward whole body DID jump. But he fought on doe...Who would have thought that?

Are people really trying to avoid the fact that SK was hunched over prior to that lowblow?

Why doesn't that matter? Dude basically tapped out prior to that point.

Definitely a low blow, that Weeks didn't see.....but the only reason the fight was stopped is because he was just standing take shots in the feeble position. If he's actively defending himself and punching back....he probably gets the benefit of the doubt after the low blow.

Ok a lot of punches seem low to me at the time of the fight but from the replays we have seen so far, you cant really tell, so lets just call them borderline and acceptable. Also I agree Kovalev probably would have lost the fight if it wasnt stopped right there, maybe straight after at the next exchange, maybe next round but we will never know because the referee messed it up.

Be honest guys, you can't deny the last punch is not a low blow, its not borderline, its illegal end of story.
It doesnt matter if he was on his way out, an illegal shot is an illegal shot, just because someone is about to get ko, doesnt mean the low blow isnt illegal anymore.

The ref didnt decide to step in before or while the last 3 punches were being thrown, he stepped in well after the last shot was connected, he looked at kovalev's reaction first and saw he wasnt moving and couldnt protect himself anymore, thats when he stopped the fight. It was the last punch that caused the stoppage and that punch was low. If the ref didnt **** up and acted accordingly, and give kovalev a 5 mins break, we could have seen a lot more action.

Some of you acting ward was dominating the fight, he was only up 1 point on 2 scorecards, and behind on the other one, so in theory, the fight could still have gone either way but we will never know because of the ref made a huge mistake.

It's really sad some posters for example like Larry would just outright lie and deny that last shot was illegal just because their "guy" won. They cant be honest and admit what is right and wrong anymore because the decision suits them, its so pathetic and sad.

You guys are willing to give up your integrity because the guy you support won? Seriously lol? Ward beating the **** out of kovalev makes no difference to your life, it doesnt make you a better man, it doesnt make you richer. He doesnt even know you exist FFS lol, and you are willing to give up something so valueable because you ****ing like a guy? How ****ing gay does that sound?

Get a life, be your own man, instead of grabbing onto someone's else success who doesnt even know you, it is his legacy and success is not yours you maggots
