Until Boxing rules are changed/updated, these types of illegal or safety-first tactics will unfortunately continue.

But I'm not going to complain, I've already debated these issues about boxing with some people on here and other websites and it's pointless, too many fanboys.

I'm just not going to tune in or watch any of the cheaters anymore.

So let me get this straight. The entire international boxing hierarchy got together and decided Andre Ward will have free reign to commit as much boxing infractions as he pleases. I'm guessing they put out a memo and incorporated the "Andre Ward Doctrine" into referee training. I'll be the first to admit Ward has a very physical style of fighting. It's nothing like Bernard Hopkins who I believe was deliberate in his "tactics." However, It's hard for me to believe this is somehow sanctioned by the powers that be in boxing.

All this because a fan favorite got beat.

There is no point in watching boxing unless the referees are fair and honest.

I can't imaging a referee in hockey who allows players to slash or cross-check, or an umpire in baseball who calls wide pitches strikes in favor of the home pitcher.

          No.

More likely, the referees are well-paid under the table by James Prince.

He has been privileged by some in the American boxing hierarchy though, with home advantage during the Super Six for every fight and with media people like Fat Dan currently lying about Ward's fouls

If referees are getting paid then that's a crime and should be investigated. Thanks for bringing your discovery to our attention.

Ward is decorated Olympian so I would hope some privileges come with that. However, that doesn't translate to him getting special permission to cheat and the commissions and the American media conspiring to cover it up

why no threads on the illegal stuff kov was doing? turning back, faking low blows, rabbit punching, headlocks, why do u all go to the final punch as your argument???? yet ignore what happened prior to it?

Ward had home advantage a d ref stopping the fight prematurely is one of the pbenefits of home advantage.

If ward was in trouble the ref would have given ward every chance to recover and people wouldn't accuse ward of looking to quit.
You'd have to peel kov off the canvas he wasn't ready to go. The fact he wants immediate rematch speaks volumes.

It's because Andre Ward's father is white. However all kidding aside, there is a lot of subliminal hatred for Ward for whatever reason and I don't understand it because he is one of the nicest guys in the sport but yet boxing fans often attempt to discredit, trash and put him in a class with a bad name.

Why do they say "If Kova had fouled he would have been DQ'd" when he didn't even get a point taken away?
