No one is denying that the last shot was low. Or if they are, they are being ridiculous. And most of us have already said that Weeks should have given Kovalev a break.

We're making fun of people who are trying to stretch the meaning of the last sequence. Some are swearing up and down that they were intentional blows to the nuts, and are conveniently removing all context from the rest of the round when assessing Weeks' decision to wave the fight.

The story initially was that Ward low blowed repeatedly during the fight. Then the slow-mo gifs failed to provide much evidence for low blows prior to the last sequence. So the detractors pretended that it is common for people to get DQs for unintentional shots where part of the glove goes below the beltline; and that Kovalev was totally fine and the TKO was the result of only the last sequence of shots.
