If you can come in here not trolling, but with a straight face, amd say Kovalev was not in any trouble, you need to log off, pack your laptop, return it to Best Buy.

Of all the b.s. that's been posted in the last 24 hours, NOBODY other than you has said Kovalev wasn't even in trouble.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt....youre obviously trolling.
Nope, if you look back on my posts you can't say I don't say it how I see it. He got caught with a good right, I've never disputed he was wobbled at that point, but at the time of the stoppage he wasn't on the ropes like Bruno against Tyson. He took a decent right, no difference than in lots of big fights. He wasn't dazed in that corner and he wasn't having he's head snapped back. He hadn't took rounds of punishment and hadn't been down.Dont twist what I wrote into what you want me to have wrote.

The first two were borderline. The last one was low. I didn't say Weeks was corrupt, I said it was a bad stoppage and he got it wrong. People celebrating it as a great ending are just people who don't like Kovalev. You can like Ward and say, nope, ref shouldn't have stopped it there. He might well have gone on for the win, but it was a rubbish ending to a pretty good fight.

He was literally sitting between the top and middle rope before the fight was stopped...

Yeah, he took two borderline shots below the belt, he was obviously gonna complain, then he took a nice low blow and the ref waved in off. Wasn't exactly Leonard Lanonde was is? We're getting robbed of real drama, fights are meant to be back and forth. It wasn't a good stoppage it ended on a foul. We don't want anyone hurt but you can't stop a good fight without clean shots and say it's a great stoppage. By this standard we'd only have seen half of Tysons combinations or Roy Jones finishing flurries.

Except for the fact that Kovalev was bending over and retreating like he wanted no more.

Never thought such a unlikeable low character foreigner would receive more love and fairness than a American Olympic hero well mannered nice guy who had Kovalev out whether when ref stopped it or next round he was broken exhausted and had nothing wobbly legs done

People act as if regardless Kovalev was some how going to climb back into this fight. Ward was up on the cards, Kovalev lost badly the 7th and looked very very winded the 8th. Even if some how Ward loses a point in the 8th the round was so one sided it might have been scored a even round.

And lets say they get past the 8th. Can anyone here down right tell me Kovalev was in the shape to stay in there 4 more rounds with Ward? He faded the first fight at the end, and he was x2 more tired this fight. Ward was in extreme condition and his movement was amazing. No way in hell Kovalev would have lasted. All he did all fight was follow Ward around the ring with his mouth wide open.

It's sad people do not see this.
