Regardless of what you think of the result of the Ward/Kovalev fight, to be shamelessly promoting the Mayweather/McGregor circus/sham/debacle, you are doing a disservice to the sport and are NOT a legitimate fan. Shame on you.
It's the casual fans who have interest in this joke of a boxing match because they don't understand that an elite MMA fighter is not an elite or even average boxer. The bulk of the paying public for this fight are too ignorant to realize that this is a blatant cash grab that is taking advantage of naive MMA fans that think Floyd is too old and McGregor can stop a freight train with his powerful strikes.
Obviously your blind patriotism and loyalty to Mayweather has totally buried any semblance of rational, objectivity and respect for the sport. It's people like you, who praise and glorify a pathetic spectacle such as Mayweather/McGregor that do serious damage to the legitimacy and respectability of a sport that is already on the fringes of being accepted as a serious pro sport that deserves credit and credibility.

Hauser works for HBO. Literally. He really doesn't even have a title. He just writes occasionally to bash anyone not with HBO. He will randomly make stuff up. Like USADA walking in on Mayweather and catching him doing something illegal. Mayweather called USADA himself, asked them to come, and had them check everything and give the go ahead. And that is what they did. Hauser knew this, but Floyd cost HBO untold fortunes by jumping to Showtime. It doesn't even matter that it was all a lie, because the people who already hated Floyd saw it and keep repeating it, because they think it justifies their hatred.

Kov will only fight on HBO. Even when he could make more money having one fight on a different network. Ward and Roc Nation can fight on any network they please. Which means Ward-Stevenson will almost certainly be televised by Showtime. Which means Lederman and Lampley won't get ringside seats. Thus, HBO pays Hauser to be a writing hitman, to pump up their, HBO's, fighter.

And while Hauser and HBO are thinking up more lies to tell, Mayweather is bathing in $100 bills, Haymon is doing better than ever, and Ward is laughing enjoying his victory.

What does it matter what Hauser thinks? Nobody listens to him anymore and it's not like he's a commentator or gets airtime or anything. HBO was pretty bias towards Ward during the rematch broadcast. Even Lampley was licking his butt the whole fight long. They were bought off by Jay-Z just like everybody else.
Since the Trump/Russia scandal, Americans now have even more disdain for anything and anybody Russian and are looking for any win possible by the US in an attempt to get revenge on Russia for their election meddling.
