.. and its really sad when you think that Andre Ward a 175 pounder has a better chance of landing a fight with the body builder.
Szpilka is fighting again next month.

No sane person thinks Ward can beat AJ or any other powerful HW. They mention AJ because he's the man to beat at HW, he's the star of the divison.

If someone is bigger in size than you, depending upon how much bigger they are then not only do you have to be more skilled than them, but you have to be more skilled by a specific margin. This means, if someone is 3 times bigger than you in size, you're going to have to be at the very least 3 times more skilled in order to compensate for the lack of size. Even if you were to be 2 times more skilled, it still wouldn't be enough to make up for the lack of size.

In other words, Andre Ward's skill advantage over Anthony Joshua isn't significant enough to make up for the lack of size. As Andre Ward can't just be more skilled than Joshua but SIGNIFICANTLY more skilled (which he unfortunately isn't). So Andre Ward has practically no chance against a prepared Anthony Joshua.

Andre Ward's record or accomplishments below heavyweight have no bearing on how he'd do at heavyweight. The heavyweight division is VASTLY different from other divisions. Being a skilled boxer below heavyweight doesn't make one favorite to come and dominate natural heavyweights (even if they are less skilled).

At this point, I doubt Andre Ward could beat any top heavyweight. Ward gets knocked out in 3 rounds by the following boxers:

              1) Anthony Joshua

              2) Wladimir Klitschko

              3) Alexander Povetkin

              4) Deontay Wilder

              5) David Haye

              6) Luis Ortiz

So not only is Ward not likely to beat Anthony Joshua but many of the other top heavyweight boxers too.
