...So then who is he gonna fight?

He's not nearly the moneyman of the sport. He should accept that and continue to take on other good fighters in his division. HW is suicide, CW has good fighters but none particularly well known in the US and is still suicide.

Stevenson is worth enough money to be worth his time. Hell, if Joe Smith wins against Barrera, I'd love Ward-Joe Smith.

If we're talking about big money fights he doesn't have a lot of options unless he wants to travel, I guess you're right Ward vs Stevenson will never take place. Best option: GGG beats Canelo in september and is willing to face Ward at 175 next year then we have a big money fight. If Ward moves up in weight there's money to be made in the UK against someone like Bellew but will he travel??

        Yea but who wouldn't.

When they said there's no money in a Stevenson and they aren't willing to travel to Canada I knew that fight isn't a possibility. And I don't see him fighting Beterbiev for his mandatory. Hopefully they can't get a fight anywhere else and decide to fight Stevenson to unify so he won't have to defend against Beterbiev

I most want to see Stevenson next but I'm fine with Beterbiev or any respectable LHW. I'm even fine with another Kov fight.

Andre Ward should fight Joseph Parker! and then if he beats him, call out Anthony Joshua!

The only somewhat big $ fights I see right now for Ward are

                  Stevenson in Canada

                  Bellew in the UK

Golovkin if he gets by Canelo ( Im sure Loeffler would rather get Cancer then have Gennady fight Ward )

If Ward doesn't want to fight the best fighters at Light Heavyweight in Beterbiev, Gvozdyk, Stevenson or Joe Smith Jr. that's fine. If Ward feels like he has reached the level of just big money fights that's fine. He has paid his dues and has fought and beaten the best.

At 175, Stevenson would probably be his biggest money fight at LHW.

Cruiserweight he should try to make a fight with Tony Bellew. This would actually bring the proposed fight of the movie Creed to real life. Danny Wheeler vs Pretty Ricky Conlan

Ward vs Bellew would definitely sell and be a good money maker for Ward.

Usyk may be another option at Cruiserweight. That fight might be too dangerous though in the risk reward sense.

And then Heavyweight, they spoke of Joshua which is a death wish really. Ward would get his highest payday but will he be alive or healthy enough to enjoy that payday after the Josua fight. Or even a fight with Wilder for that matter would likely result the same way.

We will see what Ward does next.

His friend Kovalev should move up to Cruiserweight and finish his career at Cruiser. If he does reasonably well at Cruiser, maybe a 3rd fight can happen somewhere down the line.

Stevenson should push hard for this fight. He's 40 years old and this might be his last chance.
