So whats the long game here? If you got an investor there is a long game.
Is he straight trying to copy Haymon's deal without the need to reverse himself into a promoter on the backend? Can you even attempt Haymon's deal with basic cable money & lesser audience? Can you even attempt Haymon's deal on regular TV these days? Do you need a current streaming platform content provider to grab the young fans & to create new fans?
Sorry for all the questions...I'm thinking outloud more than trying to kill you via question marks.Comment

Probably they will start paying boxers depends on how huch they do in the arena instead of a guaranteed check...So whats the long game here? If you got an investor there is a long game.

That's a great start for a run of fights - I know Pac/Horn is garbage for the hardcores but seeing a legend like Pacquaio in a huge stadium looks good for TV.
The problem is, how many other great fights can Top Rank make right now? They're going to have to have to start working with other promoters, otherwise this is PBC 2.0.Comment

Supposedly a streaming service, like WWE Network/UFC Fight Pass.So whats the long game here? If you got an investor there is a long game.

Coppinger from yesterday...
https://www.******.com/501951-manny-...-new-platform/It’s expected Top Rank will also roll out an over-the-top network in the vein of WWE Network where fans will have digital access to the company’s massive fights library, built over 50-plus years, with a slew of Muhammad Ali bouts. The tentative plan is for Top Rank to also televise live fights on that network, where prospects from their 2016 Olympic class — fighters such as Michael Conlan, Shakur Stevenson and Teofimo Lopez — will gain exposure.
It’s also expected ESPN will kick in its massive library of classic fights for viewership on the unnamed over-the-top network.Comment

I'd expect a heavy dose of Gilberto Ramirez, Oscar Valdez and Jesse Magdalena on these cards. That's a great start for a run of fights - I know Pac/Horn is garbage for the hardcores but seeing a legend like Pacquaio in a huge stadium looks good for TV.
