He's going to be dwarfed at cruiser and there ar eno money fights for him there because Americans are oblivious to that division (unfortunately).

PLENTY of good fights at 175. Beat Stevenson. Maybe take a Golovkin mega-fight. Go fight Degale in the UK at catchweight. Unless he wants to prove something to himself or his kids, there's no reason to go to cruiser. The fans aren't calling for it.
Yeah that's the thing. There are lots of good fighters in this weight class.

Stevenson, Joe Smith if he beats Barrera, Alvarez, Gvozdyk, Beterbiev, winner of Monaghan-Browne, Bivol eventually, Badou Jack

175 is arguably the best division in boxing, perfect mix of skill and power. Even 190's champion Usyk, has been rocked and put down by Beterbiev in the amateurs.
Personally I believe 190 is quite underrated. I just can't imagine Ward succeeding against a guy like Usyk. Ward showed he can outboxed on the outside by someone like Kovalev, imagine if a much bigger fighter with a much longer reach like Usyk was on the other end. It's a nightmare matchup for Ward.

he won't move. imo ward will fight a couple more of times, maybe stevenson, then another easy fight and retired, the guy doesn't give a shit about the sport anyways.

Idk that its a terrible idea. But yea thats a big jump & its a bigger jump obviously to HW.

IF he's looking for big money fights thats probably what he'll have to do doe cuz there isn't anything all that special at 175 now just like there wasn't at 168 post-Super Six.

If he could fight Usyk or the winner of the WBSS upcoming tournament sometime next year after they have upped their Q score a lil bit it'd be a fun event where I likely wouldn't hate Ward's chances. And I outright can see a path to victory for Ward in fights with Wilder & Parker cuz those guys are highly flawed & not THAT big. Joshua, who Hunter specifically mentioned, seems a bridge too far to me doe. While I think Ward's ring IQ would playfully dance around Joshua's ring IQ, the size & power Joshua has is just too much of a problem I believe. So while idk that I'd favor Ward vs any of those potential guys, if he's only looking to fight 2 or 3 more times, as I suspect is the plan, then I think onward & upward isn't terrible & is certainly the path to his biggest paydays more than Beterbiev, the Nail or Stevenson will present to him.

Any power that Ward had at 168-175 would be nonexistent at CW, and the CWs will probably be hitting harder than Kovalev and Stevenson. Standing in front of Gassiev with no power is like shooting at a bear with a slingshot. I know Gassiev is slow, but the weight gain will slow Ward down enough to where some punches will land. Ward won't be able to wrestle with the CWs either because he'd wind up tiring himself out. He'd have to change/abandon certain tactics against the CWs.
